Along the way, Tiger and Fatso kept giving Wan Shui weird looks, like they weren’t looking at a person but a monster.
"If you keep staring at me like that, I’ll gauge out your eyes feed them to you!" said Wan Shui coldly.
"Wan Shui, don’t blame them. Who’s ever seen a six a year old with an old man’s temperament and immense strength. Give them time to get used to it." said Zixin.
Zixin wasn’t lying. Tiger and Fatso just couldn’t accept seeing a six year old jumping from tree to tree with incredible speed and accuracy. In fact, they had never seen a child doing any of the things Wan Shui was doing so how couldn’t they view him as a monster.
When they arrived at the sect, the sect was half destroyed and many disciples and elders had died, leaving only a few people remaining who were waiting for Huang Jun’s return since they didn’t see the end result of the battle.
When they appeared, Yun Hua used her greatest speed and hugged whom she believed was her baby.
"Zimo my boy, I thought I’d never see you again! Mommy will always be by your side and she will protect you with her life!" she said with tears running down her face. The remaining elders and disciples walked over, including the previous sect leader.
"Get your hands off me you stupid bitch!" said Wan Shui in a disgusted voice and slapped Yun Hua away. From Huang Jun’s memories, he’d seen how she threw herself at him the moment Huang Jun changed and didn’t mind sharing the man with other women.
The slap was so hard that Yun Hua was sent flying, ate dust before staggering up with a swollen cheek.
"Yun Zimo... it’s me! I’m your mother! Don’t you remember me?" said Yun Hua as she crawled back to Wan Shui and gently caressed his cheeks with eyes full of motherly love.
"I said don’t touch me bitch!"
This time, Wan Shui punched her so hard she lost a few teeth and almost fainted from the punch. The elders and disciples of the sect felt that something was wrong. When Yun Hua regained clarity, she didn’t have anger or hate in her eyes but confusion.
"Yun Zimo, it’s me. I nursed you when you were still a baby, bathed and took care of you. I know I left you at that village but it was to protect you from your father’s enemies." Yun Hua explained and yet again approached Wan Shui and caressed him, Wan Shui was about to kill her but Zixin stopped him.
"Wan Shui, she’s gone crazy, just leave her be."
"Yes Master. Once I break through to the Soul Forming Realm, I’ll just turn her into a vengeful ghost to serve the master." said Wan Shui and allowed Yun Hua to carry him like he was a baby. Technically he was a baby but also wasn’t.
"My baby, my baby, my baby." said Yun Hua and kissed Wan Shui’s cheeks and forehead. To Wan Shui, this was nothing because he’d been in far more dangerous situations so he could endure being treated like a baby.
"Now, as you can see. I defeated your sect leader, he’s no longer in this world but don’t be scared, I’m not gonna kill you. I’m sure this woman showed you the list that I gave her and passed my message to you. Anyone with information about the beasts on the list, please come forward, even information you think is irrelevant might be valuable to me.
There was four hundred and something disciples currently present and more than a dozen elders who were at the Core Formation Realm, only the previous sect leader had reached the Soul Formation Realm.
"No one? No one knows anything about the creatures on the list. No problem then, Wan Shui, kill all the disciples and don’t waste time."
"Black, are you still cultivating?"
"Good, kill everyone who’s at the Core Formation Realm and below."
Black released a wisp of his Soul that moved around all the elders and disciples who were trying to escape. Every person the Soul Wisp passed through dropped dead. After all the disciples and elders were dead, the Soul Wisp had grown a bit larger before it fused back to the main soul and Black returned to the Beast Pouch to continue cultivating.
Only the previous sect leader was left alive, she was so shocked and scared that she couldn’t even run away. Zixin slowly approached her and grabbed her by the neck and put a bit of pressure.
"Fight back." he said but she didn’t comply.
"Fight back!" he said and added more pressure, enough to block her pipes but she still didn’t fight back. Seeing her not fighting, so weak and pathetic, he was reminded of himself back on Earth. He’d also been , weak, pathetic and not willing to fight back.
He was so angered that he punched her so hard her skull exploded, leaving her headless.
Stomp! Stomp! Stomp! Stomp!
"Why didn’t you fight back?! Why didn’t you fight back?! Why didn’t you fight back?!" he shouted while stomping the woman’s corpse into mince meat. It didn’t seem like his question was directed to her, it felt like he was asking himself this question, asking himself why he didn’t fight back.
"She’s already dead. Your attacks seem to also target the soul." explained Wan Shui in a slightly fearful voice. Zixin didn’t seem to be in a good state of mind.
"Collect the corpses, they might be useful to the sect. Also, I want all the Body Tempering Techniques Huang Jun had, give them to me, now."
"Yes Master." Wan Shui first collected all the corpses on the ground and stored them in his storage ring. After that, he touched Zixin’s forehead and transferred the techniques. Zixin then sat down cross legged to digest the information.
