The Nether Tree first devoured all the blood from the Blood Pool before its roots dug deep into the ground, using the energy to grow more roots that kept on growing deeper and deeper underground until they reached the planet’s core. Once the core was reached, the roots gently wrapped around it and slowly released Nether Energy that was injected into the core.

On land, the demons didn’t have any challengers because no one could match their numbers and strength but the sea, the sea was a completely different story.
The waves rose and fell like they’d been provoked by something, like the sea god had been angered. Many fishermen at shore ran away but those with boats were drowned by the sea waves that destroyed their boats.
The locals living on the coast abandoned their homes and ran away.
"The Sea Gods are angry! The Sea Gods are angry! A sacrifice is needed to appease them! Sacrifice virgin girls of age to appease them!" shouted some people and five virgin girls of age were captured, tied up and brought to the sea. These people were about to throw the girls to the ocean when something was left behind when the waves flowed back.
It was a humanoid monster with fish skin, fins on its elbows and back, webbed hands and feet, gills on their neck and a piranha fish head. This humanoid monster had blue skin with lighter shade of blue patterns around its body.
The waves rushed forward again and when they returned back to the sea, ten more fish headed monsters stood behind the first fish monster. This process repeated itself again and again until millions of these fishmen stood at the shore. Some of the fishmen had different fish heads like piranhas, flying fish, exodons, oscars, etc.
Then came the bigger and scarier fishmen with sharp heads, looking like something that wasn’t supposed to exist. After the sharks came the octopus, dolphins, killer whales, eels, etc. They were much bigger than the shark headed and fish headed fishmen. After them came the mermaids, sea lions and other weird looking sea creatures.
Following the mermaids were the massive cracks and lobsters, followed by shrimps of all kinds then finally the colossal turtles, whales, stingrays and other colossal creatures of the ocean. This was an extremely terrifying ocean army that was even bigger than the demon army.
A massive jellyfish that could fly rose from the water and flew in front of the army. Atop the jellyfish was a humanoid monster who looked ninety nine percent human. He only had gills on his neck, shark teeth and fins on his elbows and back and smooth fish skin. His eyes were big, black and watery.
[March!] he said and the army marched forward. The fear stricken humans were completely ignored by the ocean army and only focussed on marching forward as instructed.
"REPORT! REPORT! I HAVE AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO RELAY TO HIS MAJESTY!"
"Lower your voice! This isn’t your home but the Imperial Palace..."
"I DON’T HAVE TIME FOR ALL THIS! YOUR MAJESTY! THE OCEAN ARMY! THE EMPEROR OF THE SEA HAS COME ON LAND WITH HIS ARMY! THERE’S HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF THEM!"

The person who was shouting was allowed into the throne room where a relatively young man with a domineering aura sat on the throne. This person was one of the locals living at the coast and he’d seen everything that happened at the shore. He then reported everything to the Long River Emperor.

Zixin, Wan Shui and the ten Rank Nine demons were standing behind Dong Shilin who was also looking at the ocean army with excitement, so much so that his body released a strong Killing Intent and his red skin glowed dangerously.

The being sitting atop the colossal jellyfish gazed coldly at Shilin and his army as his jellyfish moved closer to the demon army. He was the one who controlled the weather and summoned this heavy rain but once he reached a certain range of the demon army, something completely inspected happened.
