Zixin tried to call himself down but the scent of babies on the other side of the barrier made him agitated and reckless, unable to think straight or have good judgement. He just lunged at this handsome man, revealing many openings that this guy could exploit which he did. He easily dodged Zixin’s claw then swung his sword, leaving a gash on Zixin’s neck.
Zixin ignored the neck injury because it healed very quickly and even ignored the man trying to kill him.

Zixin who had just clenched his fist and was about to punch the barrier was attacked with a very powerful sword technique. A blindingly bright light appeared in the sky that those who could see it didn’t directly look at it, only Zixin who had his back against light wasn’t affected by it but the in the next moment, the light was suddenly in front of him.
"I thought I’d come to kill a fearsome monster but it turned out to be a mindless beast." said the broad sword man as he sheathed his sword and the light disappeared after the sword was fully sheathed. Then he started to walk away calmly without looking back even once.
"CROWN PRINCE! LOOK OUT!" shouted one of the experts providing energy to the barrier but it was already too late. Behind him was a bright light and when the broad sword man turned to look, the light had disappeared and when he looked in front again, the light blinded him.
"Thank you for bringing me back to my senses!" s cold voice sounded behind him.
Blood sprayed out from both Zixin and the broad sword man but this wasn’t important, what was important was the fact that Zixin had extremely deep wounds all over his body and blood kept pouring out. If a body cultivator like Zixin to was like a small giant had such deep wounds, how was a non cultivator faring against that. The answer was simple, he wasn’t.
The broad sword man’s body was split into numerous pieces and instantly died. Zixin then crawled towards his body and devoured it.
Zixin’s body was like a magnet and his blood like metal because it was all pulled back into his body and the wounds quickly healed.
"Phew, I almost fucking died... nah, maybe I would have incurred grievous wounds but not die. Now, you guys are going to give me those children even if I take them over your dead bodies." said Zixin then his skin turned grey. The experts keeping up the barrier didn’t know what Zixin was planning but it scared them, really scared them.
Zixin pulled out his hand and lightly touched the barrier and it just popped like a bubble.
Pfft! Pfft! Pfft! Pfft! Pfft! Pffft!
The thousands of experts either spat out blood or exploded because of the backlash caused by Zixin destroying the barrier.
The survivors weren’t spared by Zixin and they also exploded and all that blood levitated towards Zixin and swallowed by him. The more Zixin ate humans, the more addicted he became but it still couldn’t compare with the taste of children. There was something in children that the adults sort of lacked or just didn’t have enough of.
In a single step, Zixin skipped the stairs and appeared directly on the slightly opened imperial doors and entered the premises.
"Holy shit, this is gonna be fun."
"Has the demon invader been taken care of?" a man sitting on a bone dragon throne asked. He was middle aged with a full beard, bulky body and a powerful and majestic aura around him.
"Not yet Your Majesty, the invader is plenty strong with abilities that the army is currently trying to understand and adapt to." answered an intelligent looking old man wearing white robes.
"What kind of abilities?"
"He can make our soldiers explode, control their minds, make one lose all their strength when he grabs them, intimidating aura that make some of our soldiers go crazy, make..."
"Enough. Is he someone that I need to deal with or will my soldiers take care of it?"
"I believe that our army is to weak to go against him."
"Then I’ll take care of it. Wait for me here." said the middle aged man with confidence, stood up and walked slowly towards the door. His every step was loud and heavy, a clear indication of how immensely powerful he was.
"Retreat. I’ll take care of this."
Zixin had killed almost half of these gold armoured soldiers when a powerful voice commanded them to retreat and the soldiers did as told and retreated. Now, it was only Zixin and this middle aged man in this huge and spacious hall full of husk corpses and golden armour lying on the ground.

Both men received the same notification at the same time. They were both surprised at first but then surprise turned into joy, joy of obtaining a System Upgrade.
Long Emperor had long wanted a System Upgrade but Aquarius was just too powerful an opponent and almost unkillable in any body of water. That’s how broken that man’s system was and to kill him, an even more broken ability like Nether Flames was needed to deal with him.
The two men then stared at each like they were looking at a once in a lifetime opportunity, an opportunity that both of them desperately needed. Golden scales appeared all of the middle aged man’s body, his eyes turned into vertical golden pupils and his aura increased many times over. Zixin’s tattoos all lit up on his grey skin, his eyes glowed brightly and a bloodthirsty aura spread out in all directions and a heavy and malevolent aura was simultaneously released by him.
The two men made no move but the mood was very heavy, so heavy that the armour was crushed beneath the mood’s intangible weight.
