She wasn't anxious only for this patient but also for the others.
She was a doctor, not just for one person, and she couldn't put all her time and energy into just one. If everyone were like this patient, the obstetrics unit might as well close down.
If no one allowed forceps deliveries, and they frequently encountered weak contractions, how were they supposed to handle it?
