Xing Shu replied, “Yes.”
Xiao Zhuo nodded. “Alright!” In the next second, he whipped out his cell phone and called Nie Heng. “Tell President Cheng that I’m borrowing his employee.” He looked at Xing Shu and asked, “What’s your name?”
Xing Shu was speechless, thoroughly shocked by Xiao Zhuo. She could only bite the bullet and say, “Hu Jie.”
Xiao Zhuo did not suspect anything. He said to Nie Heng, “Her name is Hu Jie. She’s my plus one for tonight. Tell President Cheng that I’ll treat him to a meal the next time I go to Beijing.”
