The more he thought about it, the more terrifying it seemed.
It felt as though it was going to wipe out the whole world.
Gu Hang looked at the mass of zombies chasing the car, felt rather calm, and just sped up toward the destination. The zombies were fast,
but compared to the car, they were significantly slower.
Lin Fan watched the zombies following their car and thought, not bad, their speed wasn’t unreasonable. Look at those zombies, so diligent, running faster and faster.
An older market with a large area, selling a variety of things. You could buy all kinds of goods here, and Gu Hang wanted to purchase some equipment for activities.
The sedan wasn’t driving fast, but it had lost the group of zombies behind it.
Gu Hang scanned the surroundings while looking for a store, and soon he spotted one.
Lin Fan told Gu Hang to stay in the car.
He stood outside, observing the surroundings, which were very quiet. A gust of wind blew, raising dust.
Knocking on the window.
"Hang, honk the horn a few times," Lin Fan said, bending over.
"Honk the horn to attract the zombies around. These zombies are very sly. They like hiding in the shadows and pretending to be stationary, swaying and staggering. Anyway, it’s very dangerous. Draw them all out with the horn, and you’ll be safe while we shop," Lin Fan explained.
Gu Hang said, "Wouldn’t that be too dangerous?"
He was still a bit worried.
The sound of the car horn spread far, potentially attracting a large number of zombies.
Lin Fan looked at Gu Hang with confusion, as if questioning whether Gu Hang had seen the massive battle against the horde at the residential complex entrance. Why was he still doubtful?
This was worth contemplating.
"Hang, don’t you know I’m very skilled?" Lin Fan asked.
"That’s also true," Gu Hang was startled and then came to his senses, shaking his head. Wasn’t the scene that night shocking enough? Thinking about this market, even if there were a lot of zombies, how many could there be? Could there be as many as that night?
Gu Hang felt reassured.
The sound of the horn spread.
Lin Fan stood by the car, waiting quietly. Soon, from the nearest shop, a ferocious zombie lunged at him. Without even looking, he swung his sword. Not cutting through, but using the flat of the blade to smash the zombie’s waist fiercely, sending it flying into the distance.
Considering the speed and direction of the zombie, if he had chopped off its head, the momentum would remain, and he would have to dodge, making the zombie crash heavily into the car.
That viscous fluid would dirty the car.
Gu Hang turned and looked at the zombie that was knocked away. Even though he had seen more explosive scenes, the sight still shocked him.
It required immense strength and explosive power to achieve that.
A dense hissing sound came, along with running noises, sounds of shattering glass, and noises from jumping down from buildings.
All these sounds blended together.
They felt overwhelmingly powerful.
Lin Fan looked ahead at the situation. There were a lot of zombies, filling the corridors. At a glance, their number was at least in the hundreds. He hadn’t expected the market to have so many zombies.
Thinking of Gu Hang’s safety,
He bent over, "Hang, you drive around outside for a bit. There are quite a few zombies, and cutting them down will take some time. I’m worried they might hit your car. Better go out and have a look first."
Seeing Lin Fan was really gearing up for a massive fight with the horde, Gu Hang didn’t say much. Any word was a waste of time. With the zombies’ running speed, it wouldn’t take long for them to get here.
Brief and to the point.
Start the car and leave this place.
Lin Fan stood there holding his sword, quietly waiting.
Among the running zombies were elderly people, women, and children.
Their momentum was overwhelming.
Any ordinary person seeing this would probably be scared enough to wet themselves on the spot.
"I’m warning you, don’t come closer, or I’ll have to defend myself," Lin Fan gave the zombies a chance, hoping they would understand the beauty of being alive is unimaginable.
But his warning was just nonsense to the zombies.
It was completely useless.
Lin Fan thrust his sword through the mouth of the leading zombie, exiting through the back of its head, flicked his wrist, and swung to the side, instantly slicing off half of the zombie’s face with "Frostmourne" in his hand.
There were many zombies, and these highly mobile zombies were a disaster, unimaginable for any survivor.
all he needed was to be a bit careful, because the zombies’ blood was stinky and viscous, disgusting when it got on one’s body.
Wave after wave of zombies were chopped to the ground by him.
They had no ability to resist.
Blood stained "Frostmourne" in his hand, and with each swing, you could hear the sword’s cry; maybe it was the air tearing, the specifics no longer mattered.
He had never learned swordplay; his swings were without any pattern.
His own speed, strength, and stamina had reached an extreme, an extent impossible for humans, so the power he unleashed was terrifying.
The zombies roared, unaware of the fear of death, continuously charging forward, trying to completely overwhelm Lin Fan with their numbers, to completely drown him and make him their food.
Within the zombie horde, a four-limbed zombie repeatedly dashed around, its speed so fast it seemed to leave afterimages.
This was a speed-type zombie.
Its agile and robust limbs gave it a powerful burst of speed.
The only issue was, the pants at its groin had long been torn, and a thing constantly rubbed against the ground, bloodied and sticky, perhaps because it was too long.
As Lin Fan was slashing away, his ears twitched slightly, hearing a noise behind him.
He suddenly turned around.
He saw the rushing speed-type zombie with its gaping maw dripping with deadly viscous liquid, its mouth torn to its ears, trying to swallow Lin Fan’s head in one bite.
The right and hopeful "Frostmourne" swept across, a flash of silver, tearing through the speed-type zombie’s head, bisecting it with a single sword slash, blood splattering onto the surrounding zombies.
