He hurried to Officer Huang’s side.
But he saw Officer Huang’s condition; how could he be all right? Half of his face was severely damaged, horribly disfigured, and Officer Huang was unable to stand, only able to use his arms to crawl toward the Powerful Zombie.
Officer Huang did not respond to him, still struggling to crawl. He understood that this was Officer Huang’s determination to personally verify if the sinful zombie was dead.

Officer Huang growled, his clothes torn and tattered, wandering off into the distance as if the recent event had never happened.
Lin Fan followed beside Officer Huang, "Your clothes are already worn out. Why not change into a new set? I know where you can get new clothes; let me take you back."
"It’s not this way, the police station is over there, you’ve gone the wrong way."
Officer Huang completely ignored Lin Fan, still staggering forward.

None of that mattered.
Lin Fan never cared about these things.
What he was thinking about now was changing Officer Huang’s clothing because it was really shabby—his trousers were tattered, and so was his shirt, both covered in dust and bloodstains, badly affecting Officer Huang’s heroic image.
But Officer Huang didn’t listen, still patrolling.
"Officer Huang, please forgive me, I am being impolite," he said.
he directly hoisted Officer Huang onto his shoulder and ran toward the police station, not loosening his grip no matter how much Officer Huang struggled.
At the police station,
Lin Fan locked the door.
Officer Huang seemed unaware of what had just happened, still wanting to walk outside, but facing the closed door, he gently tapped it, then staggered around the room.
Lin Fan searched for clothing, and finally found something new.
He tore off Officer Huang’s torn clothing, then changed him into new clothes, always fidgeting, like dressing a child, not cooperating at all.
Lin Fan thought about it and directly held Officer Huang on his lap, restraining him to put on his trousers and shirt, and replaced Officer Huang’s original badge and epaulet.
Looking at Officer Huang’s face,

New clothes, shiny leather shoes, perfectly presenting the spirit of a police officer.
He opened the door and watched as Officer Huang staggered away.
A smile appeared on his lips.
To him, this was a truly meaningful thing to do.
"Take care, Officer Huang," he said.
"Let’s work hard together."
"You’re not alone, you have us with you."
