The old hands looked on with anticipation; for Old Mao, it was a mix of excitement and expectation. The vehicle he’d toiled to modify was finally about to be enchanted. "My steel behemoth will be the first vehicle in the whole world to receive an enchantment, what an honor," he thought.
Lin Fan slapped the Black Crystal onto the steel behemoth’s body.
The crystal shattered, and its contained energy was instantly absorbed by the steel behemoth.
Old Mao stared wide-eyed, exclaiming, "It lit up... it lit up! The body of my car just glowed, with light sweeping over it like waves."
He jumped up excitedly, grabbing Xu Zeyang by the shoulders.
Xu Zeyang nodded, "I saw it."
Old Mao, normally so composed, had never been this excited. He hurriedly approached Doggie, squatting there, and began to pet it, "Doggie, did you see that? It’s glowing, shining!"
Doggie stared with its dog eyes, a bit startled; these humans were definitely not normal.

As the armored vehicle drew nearer.
Eagle climbed onto the armored vehicle and looked inside, noting the clean streets devoid of zombies. Just as he was about to inform everyone that it was safe,
he suddenly saw a dog appear in his line of sight, seemingly coming out of a shop.
Eagle waved at Doggie.
Knowing it was the dog raised by the Sunshine District.
