Lin Fan said indifferently, "After cleaning up, I moved everything to the dump."
The driver turned his head, glanced, and thought to himself, he really can boast.
The underling pressed the brake, looking a bit perplexed outside the car, still unsure of why they were here or what they intended to do.
"The police station in Huang City?"
Jin Ding saw the sign on the roadside and muttered to himself.
he thought of a possibility.
He looked at Lin Fan with a somewhat meaningful gaze.
In Jin Ding’s view, there were two possibilities for Lin Fan bringing them to the police station.
The first was not very friendly. Perhaps it was because of what he had just said that, in his view, there was a kind of suppression towards Sunshine District. By bringing them here, he wanted to revisit the old place and tell them, "Wu Xiang died here. Are you afraid?"
The second seemed more friendly, accepting the goodwill of Lucky Number He Ye. Wu Xiang was locked up here but hadn’t died. Thinking since they were making nice, they might take Wu Xiang back with them.
He believed the second possibility was the most likely.
The person capable of establishing a shelter definitely wasn’t foolish, especially at such a terrible time; no one would want to offend another shelter’s forces.
"I understand now," Jin Ding said with a smile.
Lin Fan asked, "What do you understand?"
Jin Ding pretended to understand, "I understand why you brought us here."
Jin Ding smiled without speaking, you know why, why ask me.
"Get out of the car."
Without asking further, Lin Fan got out of the car, since it was best if he understood, and opened the car door.
Jin Ding surveyed the street environment around him, making sure there was no danger before getting out of the car nonchalantly. He acted as if he had no fear, trying to show off in front of Lin Fan.
I’m not afraid of what’s around me, even if there were zombies, it would be the same.
Thinking that, he even lifted his head towards Lin Fan to show his fearlessness.
Lin Fan led them inside.
They searched for Officer Huang, but saw no sign of him, nor heard any noise.
Not here, or perhaps he had left early.
Once inside, Jin Ding looked for Wu Xiang, but after scanning the room, still didn’t find out where Wu Xiang was. However, the room itself was quite clean.
It didn’t look like a police station in the apocalypse at all, as if someone cleaned regularly. He instantly understood that the person who cleaned must be the guy right in front of him.
"You guys take a seat," Lin Fan said.
Jin Ding and the underling didn’t think much of it; they sat down, their legs crossed leisurely, thinking it would feel even better if they had a cup of tea.
He used to visit here often, maintaining a very good relationship with the leaders. Speaking of this police station, the most annoying person here was definitely a guy named Huang Guan. Dammit, resistant like oil in water, the way he looked at them was as if he bore a grudge, but Jin Ding didn’t care. People like that couldn’t climb high in the system.
"Jin...Jin Bro, he’s tying me up," the underling stammered.
Sitting comfortably, all of a sudden, Lin Fan was tying him up with rope, leaving him a bit flustered.
"What are you doing?"
Seeing Lin Fan actually tying up his underling, Jin Ding became a bit frantic. This wasn’t what he had expected.

Having tied up the underling,

As Lin Fan still advanced toward him, Jin Ding decisively fired, but when he saw what happened next, he was utterly shocked.
"You..." Jin Ding opened his mouth, seeing Lin Fan catching the bullet with his bare hands, completely dumbfounded until Lin Fan approached, took the gun from his hand, and before he could resist, pushed him into a chair.
"Don’t move, you are now at the police station, and you need to behave here. I could have hit you in self-defense when you fired the gun, but this is a police station, and I did not do so," Lin Fan said.
Jin Ding, mouth agape, thought about Lin Fan’s previous words, that he had killed zombies, and now he could catch a bullet with his bare hands; this was terrifying.
"Bro, let’s talk nicely, just tell me, why did you bring me to the police station?"
Knowing to speak nicely when things seemed wrong often saved lives.
"Weren’t you just clear about it?" Lin Fan replied.
Jin Ding thought, the last thing he wanted to hear was someone being ’clear’. ’I understand’ my ass, is my ’clear’ the same as your ’clear’?
Suddenly, it seemed as if he figured something out.
"Are you saying I killed that officer..."
"It looks like you do understand."
Jin Ding felt like dying. It was already the apocalypse, and someone was seriously dealing with such things; this was just too neurotic.
