In his eyes, the burly Zhong Hanguo was quite good, exuding an honest and gentle aura.
Ye Qian was relatively rational, displaying a very calm demeanor.
On the other hand, he saw a strong ambition and self-serving streak in Chen Sheng’s eyes. Sunshine District wasn’t really suitable for such a person. Of course, the individual hadn’t done anything outrageous yet. If possible, he was indeed willing to exchange information about their shelters with him. Even if he wasn’t suitable for residence, they could still cooperate against the apocalypse.
The one who seemed to be the leader of the group, Chen Sheng, said, "Speak up, what exactly do you want us for?"

Zhong Hanguo, however, had some thoughts. He had always believed that to combat the apocalypse, humanity had to come together; otherwise, they were like headless flies.
Just thinking about the time he had acquainted with Chen Sheng and Ye Qian, they had supported each other and helped one another to come this far. A sudden departure was definitely out of the question.
He glanced at Ye Qian, whose tranquil eyes hinted at contemplation. It was clear she was somewhat interested in what Lin Fan had proposed.
"What about the two of you?" Lin Fan turned to Zhong Hanguo and Ye Qian.
Chen Sheng was already somewhat displeased. He thought this guy was purposely trying to stir up trouble. Couldn’t he see the three of them were a team? Did he really think they would abandon him and follow you instead?
Zhong Hanguo helplessly said, "What you’re saying is actually quite good, but since Chen Sheng doesn’t want to go, we’ll have to pass. The three of us have always been a team."
There was no helping it.
Zhong Hanguo was quite sentimental and cared about others’ feelings. Whether it was Chen Sheng or Ye Qian, he valued them. If either of them didn’t want to go, naturally, he wouldn’t go either.
Chen Sheng rarely showed a satisfied smile.
Ye Qian pondered, considering the situation of Sunshine District and observing Lin Fan before her. Her thoughts echoed Zhong Hanguo’s; if they could have a shelter with a group of survivors, many unnecessary troubles could be avoided.
But Chen Sheng’s reluctance, Zhong Hanguo’s hesitation, and her own need for support from others, as well as the fact that the three of them had formed a team and experienced various difficulties together, creating a relatively stable understanding, made the idea of simply disbanding quite unrealistic.
Lin Fan said, "No worries, wherever you are, as long as you can eliminate zombies, that’s fine. If you run into trouble in the future, you can come to Sunshine District to find me. Goodbye."
Meeting survivors was a happy event, not to mention that these three survivors were Awakeners with strong combat abilities. If they really could come to Sunshine District, the security there would surely be heightened.
With Lin Fan’s departure.
Chen Sheng watched his retreating figure, saying, "The current situation is too dangerous; human nature is treacherous. You can’t just trust anyone. He had ambition, a desire to become god-like.

Zhong Hanguo said, "My goodness, I have no interest in whether we’re new human or gods. My greatest hope is to end this chaotic apocalypse, to dream of peace, and a plain, ordinary life."
Chen Sheng said, "When opportunity knocks, you must not let it slip by; otherwise, you’ll definitely regret it for a lifetime."
Ye Qian observed the two men. In her eyes, Zhong Hanguo’s thoughts were like those of many survivors, and Chen Sheng’s perspective had some merit too. They had indeed found the direction and path of evolution.
When the road lies before you, you must head towards the distance.
Chen Sheng and the other two survivors hid here, simply eating some food, while the occasional ’hehe’ sounds from outside didn’t affect them at all.
They were just a small team wandering the apocalypse.
No shelter was built, nor had they taken in any survivors.
