A sedan was parked by the side of the road.
Qiuyue stood in front of the car, looking at the desolate surroundings enveloped by a sandstorm.
She had serious doubts about her own situation, as she had not been infected with the zombie virus up to now, and she was still alive, not even knowing what impact the Lucky Cell had on her body.
The Lucky Cell would devour the normal cells in her body.
Therefore, without the injection of the zombie virus, she would ultimately die, but now, she was safe, only her body had changed.
She lifted up her shirt, and green veins emerged on the surface of her skin, intertwining in a web-like pattern.
She knew that she was different from humans.

A modified vehicle was driving down the deserted highway, slowly stopping in front of Qiuyue’s car.
A blond man, seeing Qiuyue, his eyes lit up, "Beauty, all by yourself, eh? It’s dangerous out here. How about you come with us? We treat our ladies real well—there’s food, drink, whatever you want."
The blond man glanced around, made sure there were no zombies, then walked out boldly, and the others in the car got out too. To see such a fine lady in this apocalypse was a bright spot for them, prompting some thoughts.
At the beginning of the apocalypse, it had been okay.
But now... really, it was unbearable to look at.
Either they were skinny as sticks, or they hadn’t bathed in ten days, reeking all over, just like beggars, without any appeal whatsoever.
The lady in front of them, though her clothes were stained with blood, looked pretty good overall.
"I don’t need to." Qiuyue looked at them calmly.
The blond man approached with a smile, and when he got to Qiuyue’s side, he took out a dagger from his waist and waved it in front of her, hehe said,
"It’s not about what you don’t need, but what we want. If you don’t want to get hurt, just quietly come with us."
The other men who had gotten out of the car were laughing similarly.
If it had been the old Qiuyye faced with this situation, she definitely would have been nervous, scared, and even condemned the others for their behavior. But now, she felt herself no longer human, but rather a monster influenced by the Lucky Cell.
The few survivors in front of her had vicious looks in their eyes.
She knew this gang had adapted to life in the apocalypse.

Qiuyue walked towards the car. In her line of sight, she could see clearly the internal organs of those people’s bodies, and she went from initial panic to gradual acceptance of this condition.
She could now face it calmly.
"Hehe, smart girl, saves you the trouble and pain. Don’t worry, we like to take good care of our women and will make you feel like you’re in heaven." The blond man was rubbing his hands together eagerly.
Of course, he still wanted to take the girl back home, have her take a good bath, and get her nice and fragrant.
