"Bro Lin, it’s bad news. There’s a horde of zombies heading towards the bridge."
The call was from Zhu Cheng.
He hung up the phone.

The meeting of Brain Eater and Corpse God triggered a very domineering chain reaction.
Zombies that had evolved to a certain extent, like Brain Eaters or Corpse Gods, had a sense of territory and were devoid of any human emotions. Their thought processes were now purely zombie-like.
Upon becoming aware of each other’s existence.
Brain Eater had plans for Corpse God, and Corpse God had plans as well.
But when it came to the humans in Salt City, they had a unified goal: to eliminate the humans there no matter what, to secure the zombies’ apex position in the food chain.
Corpse God could recombine zombies into terrifying forms, giving rise to horrific mutations and possessing astounding abilities.
Brain Eater could control various zombies, even Fusion Zombies were under its control.
BOSS Number One (Corpse God) roared, its cries echoing through the horde. Zombies that heard its voice went utterly berserk. They were no longer aimlessly drifting but had a target and even knew what to do.
BOSS Number Two (Brain Eater) also roared.
It seemed to feel that this fellow was a bit arrogant. Half of the zombies had been brought over by it. Why should it shout commands and expect its subordinates to cooperate with you? This would make anyone uncomfortable.
"I’ll go take care of them."
Lin Fan intended to leave the stronghold and charge at the zombies, but he was stopped by Old Zhong.
Lin Fan asked, looking puzzled at Old Zhong.
Old Zhong said, "We’ve built the stronghold, but we’ve not yet made a stand. Isn’t this a good opportunity? We want to give it a try, and it’s not just us—they definitely want to as well."
The ’they’ he referred to were the soldiers.
They too wished to annihilate the zombies, they took action, made efforts, but the final outcome was disastrous. Everyone was holding back a breath, a breath seeking revenge.
"Mr. Lin, let us personally fight the zombies, the brothers are all holding their breath for it."
Looking at their expression.
"Alright, then let’s let you have a try."
Lin Fan knew that even if they were fully armed, they still wouldn’t be able to withstand so many zombies.
He knew that behind the zombies there were mysterious ones; without real power, they wouldn’t have come here.
One of the soldiers waved his hand and said, "Brothers, our time for revenge has come."
Seething with anger, they wished they could wipe out all the zombies and look at the places they once protected, which had become hell on earth due to the zombies.
