"Oh, it’s you. We’ve communicated before. You used to control zombies and make them speak using their bodies. Huang City has experienced two special zombie swarm attacks, and I think you’re responsible for those, aren’t you?"
Upon hearing these words, Brain Eater felt an urge to defend itself. What nonsense was this? There were no two zombie swarms attacking.
The first so-called swarm attack wasn’t really an attack. Its offspring had indeed split and were under its control, but those were zombies attracted within Huang City, not a true swarm.
The real zombie swarm attack happened yesterday.
But it didn’t want to explain. With the way things had developed, explanations were useless.
Lin Fan had already planned the work for tonight’s return: to write down the specific data about Brain Eater. But there was still so little information known.
Abilities: Summon zombies, control zombies.
More detailed information was still unclear.
Lin Fan said, "Your appearance is quite special. Do all the special zombies look somewhat like you, not taking on a human form but evolving in the best direction according to their own conditions?"
He felt this was quite likely.

Brain Eater still offered no reply, its caterpillar-like body, with its bloodied skin, squirmed, secreting a large amount of viscous fluid with every move.
Lin Fan said, "Don’t be so cold. Can you talk to me, like what abilities do you have?"
He was eager to learn about Brain Eater’s abilities.
It wasn’t just for his own knowledge, but also to pave the way for other survivors, to inform them about the extremely terrifying zombies that existed in this apocalyptic world.
After a long silence, Brain Eater finally began to speak slowly.
Brain Eater knew this question was foolish, but it couldn’t help asking.
Just as if humans appeared before it, asking, "Can you let me go?"
"Yes, you can, but can you talk about your abilities?" Lin Fan said, smiling as if he sensed the other’s skepticism and immediately added, "Don’t worry, I, Lin Fan, keep my word."
Brain Eater eyed Lin Fan, torn between trusting him or not.
But distrust often changed nothing; the outcome would still be the same.

After Brain Eater laid out all of its abilities, it turned to leave Xiangshan, this place no longer suitable for it. All the zombies had been eradicated by the other party, not even a ghost was left.
Lin Fan stepped forward, grabbed Brain Eater, "Don’t panic. When I say I’ll let you go, I’ll let you go. It’s just a long journey, let me escort you out."
Having said that, he hoisted Brain Eater onto his shoulders and began to head into the distance.
In a city near Xiangshan.
Don’t be fooled by its status as a county; in the uninhabited cities of the apocalyptic world, this county managed to sustain several tenacious survivors.
The reason for their survival was because they were in a fairly decent place—a food processing plant. Although the food wasn’t particularly tasty, it had kept them alive all this time.
But now they seemed to have run into trouble.
"Brother Lv, my little brother’s medicine is gone."
A young woman with a weary expression came to a middle-aged man uncertainly.
The young woman was Cao Ya, and her little brother was Cao Taotao, only twelve and suffering from angina, which required ongoing medication. Running out of medicine could have serious consequences, possibly even death.
The middle-aged man addressed as Brother Lv was Lv Jun.
They had gathered here not long after the apocalypse broke out, struggling together ever since, without any bullying or humiliating each other.
From their initial helplessness to now being united, they were contemplating how to better survive in this apocalyptic world, their will to live very strong despite numerous dangers faced, never giving up on themselves.
Apart from Cao Ya and her brother and Lv Jun,
There were five more survivors.
Lv Jun looked at Cao Ya, his voice grave, "The nearby pharmacies, they are all out of medicine."
He had ventured out before to get medicine for Cao Taotao. Although there had been some incidents, fortunately, he had returned safely with the medicine.
Cao Ya lowered her head, her voice as soft as a mosquito’s, "I know."
Now, to obtain the medicine, they would have to risk a journey into the heart of the county, where medicines were surely available. But the dangers they would face were imaginable; the zombies there were not a trivial matter, far more ferocious than many of the wild beasts they had encountered.
The other five survivors, upon hearing Cao Ya’s words, had complex feelings.
Looking at Cao Taotao in a corner, they felt helpless and sympathetic.
