"Knock, knock, knock..."
The sound of knocking arose.
Shi Qianxi continued to look at the computer, operating the mouse, her head not raised.
After the other person entered, there was no talk, just the sound of footsteps coming closer.

"Alright, don’t waste your time here. Call up your friends and enjoy your carefree life. I still have a ton of things to go through."

The knocking sounded once more.
The person who came in was Chen Zhou. Seeing someone in the office, he paused, slightly surprised.

"Miss, the chairman is looking for you," Chen Zhou reported.
Shi Qianxi looked at Sun Xiyu, gave him a look that said, "You see how busy I am," then said to Chen Zhou, "Please see Mr. Sun out."
Shi Qianxi stood up, walked around the office desk, and left the office in her high heels.
After Shi Qianxi had left, Chen Zhou looked at Sun Xiyu, "Mr. Sun, please."
Sun Xiyu, having no choice, stood up.
"No trouble, I’ll leave on my own."
"I can’t defy the Miss’s orders,"
Chen Zhou said with a smile.
Sun Xiyu heard this and did not refuse the kind offer anymore.
"Are you Mr. Shi’s secretary?"
As they reached the elevator, he glanced at the other’s work badge.
Chen Zhou smiled politely, "Mr. Sun truly lives up to his reputation, a man of great presence."
"I’ve heard the chairman mention you, and he can’t praise Mr. Sun enough."
Sun Xiyu smiled but said nothing.
The elevator doors opened.
The Chairman’s office.
"Dad, you wanted to see me?"
Miss Shi pushed the door open and entered without knocking.
"Isn’t Xi Yu here? Where is he?"
Seeing her enter alone, Shi Zhenhua was somewhat surprised.
"I just mentioned that he was coming, but he said he had some business and left early. Ah, I really don’t know why he’s so busy."

Shi Qianxi seized the opportunity to act pitiful, "Dad, why don’t you give me a break? I feel I need some rest."

"Dad, do you really agree?"

"Isn’t New Year’s Day coming up? East Sea University is holding a celebration, and they’ve invited many people. I’m on the invitation list, but I have a lot of social engagements that day and probably won’t be able to get away, so you’ll go in my stead."

After his daughter left, Shi Zhenhua went to the expansive floor-to-ceiling window, looking down from his elevated position.
Chen Zhou and Sun Xiyu shook hands amiably and said their polite goodbyes.
Sun Xiyu headed for the parking lot.
As a secretary, Chen Zhou indeed knew how to conduct himself; he stood there, patiently watching the big shot drive away, before turning to re-enter the building.
