"Really?" Chloe looked at Evan in surprise, as he had never spoken so gently before, always thinking girls were troublesome.
Evan nodded once again, turning his head away with embarrassment, avoiding eye contact with Chloe.
Chloe smiled sweetly and nodded lightly: "Okay, I’ll wait for you to come back."
Evan glanced at Landon Lawson standing at the kindergarten entrance, frowning slightly: "Why are you here again? If someone didn’t know better, they’d think you attended kindergarten every day."
"See whom I brought," Landon Lawson ignored Evan’s teasing, pointed to the car, and slowly the window lowered. Evan’s previously disinterested expression suddenly became interested, his bright and intelligent eyes widened.
"Evan, long time no see." Inside sat a man who tenderly spoke to Evan, whose face resembled Landon Lawson by nearly eighty or ninety percent. This child had been beloved since their last meeting; the man often called Landon Lawson, urging him to bring this little one to their company more often, but Landon Lawson never did.
Evan excitedly pushed past Landon Lawson, ran up to the car window, and grinned broadly, "Uncle, what book are you showing me today? I’ve already read all the ones you gave me last time."

The man laughed and handed Evan a book: "This is a new IT book I just bought, and it contains a program which I’ll install on your home computer."
Evan turned to talk to the man sitting in the back, his face displaying a smile he’s never shown to Landon Lawson.
He freed a hand to pat Evan’s small head, "Sit properly, don’t look back."
Evan grumbled, pouting, while the man sitting in the back laughed heartily, "President Lawson, I never imagined you could be someone who gets jealous so easily beforehand?"
