After parting with the heroine, Chiara Thorne went to the company where Landon Lawson worked.

After Nolan Shaw had settled the second-in-command, he returned to report to Landon Lawson.
Looking at Nolan Shaw who had already returned, Landon Lawson spoke slowly, "Have you safely sent him over now?"
"President Lawson... just rest assured when I handle things, and I ensure there won’t be any harassment." Nolan Shaw said proudly.
Landon Lawson nodded with satisfaction.
"Now he’s our secret weapon. Whatever happens, protect him."

"You will always be my son, and I will always love you."
"But you don’t love Mommy now, so you don’t want me either."

Landon Lawson’s brow furrowed slightly, turning his head and glaring fiercely at Nolan Shaw, who hastily raised his hands to signal, "President, it really wasn’t me who said anything; this matter has nothing to do with me."
Seeing Nolan Shaw’s continual assurance, Landon Lawson breathed a sigh of relief.
He sighed gently, "What did I tell you?"
Nolan Shaw looked worriedly at Evan Quinn, noticing no difference on his little face, exhaled in relief, thankful he hadn’t misspoken otherwise Landon Lawson might’ve torn him apart...
