I have an infinite number of shikigami Chapter 511

Hearing this, Kasahara Fumi couldn’t help but furrow her brow.

"Thinking that maintaining a cold heart can keep things as they are, that’s a big mistake." Fujiwara Reya moved his fingers, gently tickling the soles of her feet wrapped in stockings, "Ice will eventually be melted by fire, no matter how thick, even if it’s an iceberg."

Kasahara Fumi’s toes curled up as if ticklish, and a blush rose on her neck.

Fujiwara Reya stared at her, only to see her gaze avoid his for a moment. She then retracted her hands from around his neck and hugged her own arms, letting out a soft "hmm," and asked, "Even for an iceberg like me?"

"A cute and beautiful iceberg like you would melt even more spectacularly. Why do you have doubts? Your attitude is quite incorrect."

"Are you lecturing me?" Kasahara Fumi lowered her eyelids.

"What’s wrong with lecturing, nothing is as powerful as love, right? Ice cannot withstand fire. The only way to counter fire is to generate a more intense fire within yourself, only then can you extinguish the original fire."

"I am originally fire..."

"I’m talking about the fire of emotions. In this aspect, your warmth is even weaker than the Snow Woman."

Kasahara Fumi said nothing.

She neither nodded nor shook her head in agreement, just slowly retracted her long legs, her black-silk-clad feet nestled against his abdomen.

"You can’t generate heat on your own, you will eventually be infected by the heat around you, making yourself hot. This is called the conservation of energy, a great law of physics that cannot be broken by mere personal will..." Fujiwara Reya laughed as always, saying strange things.

In Kasahara Fumi’s view, his tone seemed to have a certain charm.

Knowing full well that what he said was fallacious, without needing serious analysis to know it’s nonsense... yet listening to it somehow made the conversation enjoyable for her, causing her upright posture to soften unknowingly, gently leaning against him.

Fujiwara Reya embraced her waist.

Pressing his cheek against hers, he asked softly, "Is this okay?"

"It’s not okay." Like a strict elder sister, Kasahara Fumi pried his hands off her waist.

"No, I’m fire, so I won’t melt."

"You’re just fake fire." Fujiwara Reya tightly held her body, leaning back against the sofa, gazing at her delicate face just inches away, saying, "Miss Not-Knowing-Fire, you’re a piece of ice about to melt, how long will you keep being stubborn?"

Kasahara Fumi pulled out the ultimate feminine trick—silence.

During the silence, she felt like smoking, but since meeting Fujiwara Reya, she rarely smoked and wouldn’t carry cigarettes with her. She didn’t know where to get some at the moment, so she just resisted the urge.

With his hands wrapped around her soft waist, Fujiwara Reya felt immensely content.

Her body was always dry and pleasant, resting his ear on her cheek was as comfortable as a clear afternoon. Her legs wrapped in stockings were soft like dry cotton, with fingers gliding smoothly along gentle curves.

"I love Fumi’s legs!"

"Really?" Kasahara Fumi asked casually, seemingly not quite believing.

"One hundred percent true!" Fujiwara Reya said, "If you wonder how much I love them, it’s like watching ’2001: A Space Odyssey.’"

"You know what I think of you?"

"Either a quality good lunatic or a quality bad lunatic, you’re still undecided, right?"

"Actually, I’m not that bad. I may be a bit extreme, a bit stubborn, a bit overconfident, but I’m not a lunatic."

"I didn’t say you were a lunatic," Kasahara Fumi tapped his forehead with her fingertips, "but my impression of you indeed wavers between good and bad quality..."

"A bad-quality husband is still a husband." Fujiwara Reya said nonchalantly.

"I’m fed up with this married life, I’ll divorce you tomorrow." Kasahara Fumi said, her cheeks turning slightly red.

Then she found it somewhat amusing, her mouth involuntarily curling up into a smile, like rain descending on a grassland. Her left wrist lightly tapped Fujiwara Reya’s forehead, her hand smooth and slender without any jewelry.

"Before the formal divorce, there are many formalities to go through. It’s very troublesome," Fujiwara Reya said.

Kasahara Fumi squinted her eyes: "I’ll leave it to you."

"I don’t know how either; it’s my first time getting a divorce."

"Nothing can be relied upon." Kasahara Fumi’s lips closed into a straight line, gripping his shoulders, "As a man, you’re really disappointing."

"Well then, let’s not divorce for now." Fujiwara Reya confidently tapped his temple with his index finger, "I have a talent, whether with people or demons, as long as they spend enough time with me, they’ll become deeply dependent on me... even my immediate boss."

Kasahara Fumi’s lips curled into a sarcastic smile.

The curve was small, almost unnoticeable, more like a desire to laugh than sarcasm.

Beside the sofa, a waitress in a short skirt brought over the meal they had just ordered.

The girl had a nice figure and pretty face, her short skirt accentuating her shape, and bending to place the dishes on the table gave a fleeting glimpse of the garter straps at her thighs.

Fujiwara Reya had only glanced once before Kasahara Fumi pinched his ear and pulled his gaze back. Read full story at novel⁂fire.net
