I have an infinite number of shikigami Chapter 586

The black rubber suit hugged her perfect figure, and the sensation of holding her in his arms was exceptionally vivid. Fujiwara Reya slightly raised his face, looking at her face, which was cold yet charmingly shy: "Having thirty-six is really too much to ask, so Fukaeri, just having one is fine."

Kasahara Fumi was taken aback.

How much of a leap in thinking does it take to derive the moral of "just having one is fine" from Izanami’s story?

"Hey, Fukaeri," Fujiwara Reya asked softly, "will you agree or not?"

The torrential rain suddenly turned into a light drizzle.

The massive unidentified object in the distance drew closer. Kasahara Fumi had no choice but to avert her gaze and focus on the unknown danger, replying softly: "Whether it’s one or a few, we’ll see according to the situation, okay..."

Her voice was really soft.

Softer than the rain hitting the deck.

"What did you say?" Fujiwara Reya feigned surprise.

"Nothing!" Kasahara Fumi gritted her teeth, looking at the sea, her long white hair swaying in the wind.

"I heard it; there’s no point in denying it!" Fujiwara Reya couldn’t help but let his lips curl up.

Kasahara Fumi poked her fingertip into his waist.

Then, Fujiwara Reya held her small hand, sharing their warmth.

A thunderous roar echoed in the sky.

"Ah, look," Kasahara Fumi pointed.

Fujiwara Reya looked out.

Amidst the raging wind and crashing waves, a huge, dark object bobbed on the sea, its colossal body like a small island.

Kasahara Fumi took a deep breath: "King level!"

"Mm." Fujiwara Reya nodded.

"Let go," Kasahara Fumi said grumpily, "do you plan on holding me while fighting?"

"It’s not impossible..." Fujiwara Reya smiled thoughtfully, "I have wings and can fly straight to the sea. Holding you is a bit inconvenient, but you can cling to my back."

Kasahara Fumi returned her gaze to him.

With that mighty look, he seemed eager to perform in front of her, and she couldn’t help but smile slightly. Just as she was about to say, "Then carry me," a figure darted from the top deck, plunging toward the sea like an arrow.

Kasahara Fumi looked closely with concentration: "Wearing a shrine maiden outfit, who could it be?"

"It’s Rinko." Fujiwara Reya, with a better view, saw the face of the senior clearly. He led Kasahara Fumi to the railing, looking at the senior’s back, "Let’s go too, ready to support at any moment."

"You’re going to hold my hand in front of her?" Kasahara Fumi asked with amusement.

Fujiwara Reya laughed heartily: "Why not? A true man should bravely face chaotic scenes... Eh, why is Xiangxiang going too?"

In the heavy rain, the junior sister piloted a flying boat, leisurely following behind the senior.

Kasahara Fumi directly shook off his hand and then reverted to human form.

Until Fujiwara Reya resolved the situation, she wouldn’t let her sister know about her demon identity and that of being the Mountain God’s Wife.

"Then you watch from here, and I’m off."

Fujiwara Reya waved goodbye helplessly, his white wings spreading wide as he followed swiftly.

Kasahara Fumi watched him leave.

She stretched lazily, her slender waist relaxed, and her face appeared beautifully serene.

Without Fujiwara Reya’s teasing, her mind was rarely at peace, allowing her to fully appreciate the showdown between the shrine maiden and the whale on the sea.

The top floor of the cabin.

Behind the dark blue warm curtain, in a room with black wooden floors, the scent of incense was pervasive.

Mrs. Hoshimi stood by the window, anxiously watching her daughter’s distant figure: "With the Wind and Thunder God Fan, Rinko can indeed fight a Demon King-level whale, but what about the one lurking in the thunderclouds?"

"Isn’t it just a Thunder God, no need for such alarm." Mrs. Kasahara said with a smile, "Your good son-in-law is right below, let him handle it. We old folks should conserve our strength."

Mrs. Hoshimi gave her friend a helpless glare.

This room, one and a half tatami mats in size, was filled with scrolls, bells, talismans, and other tools. Mrs. Kasahara donned an elegant shrine maiden outfit with gold-edged magnolias and sat cross-legged on a pile of odds and ends, casually ringing a bell.

The crisp sound was soothing to hear.

"Himeko, why aren’t you even a little anxious..."

"What’s the use of being anxious? I’m always worried about getting older every day, but have I turned back into a youthful and lovely girl? I haven’t, right? On the contrary, the more anxious I am, the quicker I’ll become an old hag."

"You fool, don’t give me such nonsense!"

"Stupid Yako, what do you mean by calling me a fool? I see your face is almost wrinkled. I’m kindly urging you to calm down; isn’t that a refreshing remedy? And yet you scold me!"

"I don’t even want to see your face!"

"Do you not know how to appreciate beauty? Look at my still youthful face, lively body, round and firm bosom, alluring slender waist, and every other part is still young!"

"Looking at you makes me sick!"

"I bet Yako is so fond of her sister but doesn’t dare to admit it, so she’s speaking opposites, right? But even so, you shouldn’t take it out on your sister. Be careful, or I might snatch Mr. Fujiwara away, leaving you with nothing."

"You think you can beat me with just that? Don’t get cocky! I just wasn’t trying! Watch out; when I get serious, you’ll end up crying alone at night."

"Please, do your best! Even if I lose, Mr. Fujiwara will be there to comfort me in my bed."

Amidst the outside dangers, the sisters engaged in their daily banter.

Rumbling sounds, like grinding a millstone, emanated from the rain curtain. The Thunder God from Yomi seemed to be wreaking havoc over the sea.
