Gu Xi immediately saw the newest post in the forum with the title [The freshly released picture wall for Art Festival! Come see whos on there!]
The one that we were nabbed to take pictures previously? asked Gu Xi as she recalled the incident.
Thats the one. Dong Mingming nodded in despair.
Whats the matter? asked Gu Xi.
See for yourself. Dong Mingming clicked open the article, clicked on the largest photo in there, and pointed at one of the photos.
Gu Xi looked at what she was pointing. It was the photo of them when they had stepped out of the library and Dong Mingming had on a big sunflower headgear.
Lo and behold, this photo had been placed at a very eye-catching spot.
I was hoping that the photo would be placed somewhere obscure. I didnt think theyd put it so close to the middle! said Dong Mingming with a look of desperation.
Why was it that all the others got these cute headgears and I was the only one with such an ugly one!
Listening to Dong Mingmings gripe, Gu Xi, too, looked over at the other photos. Dong Mingming was right. The others have headgears as well but most of them were cute ones like bunny or a crown. And boys get transformer or something along that line. Dong Mingmings sunflower really stood out in the sea of photos.
AARRGGHHHHH. This is so embarrassing. Is there a gap on the ground that I could bury myself in?? And, just like that, my reputation has been ruined! Dong Mingming continued to shriek dryly.
Having said that, Dong Mingming suddenly turned, gave Gu Xi a pitiful look, and patted her on her shoulder.
Yours is... even worse.
Welp. See for yourself. Just be prepared. Dong Mingming sighed and covered up her eyes.
Gu Xis lips twitched when she heard that. Why was it that she had a bad feeling all of a sudden?
Gu Xi canned over the picture wall and, sure enough, located her own photo in less than two seconds.
If Dong Mingmings photo could be said to be close to the middle, then Gu Xis one was right smack in the middle.
Not only that, because of the typesetting of the picture wall, Gu Xis photo was bigger than all the other ones around her.
Compared to Dong Mingmings sunflower that was already pretty bad, the Gu Xis mold-green alien headgear was truly ugly, exceptionally so. It certainly stand out incredibly amongst all the other cute animals like bunny and kitten.
Can I chalk this up to sacrificing myself for art? said Gu Xi to Dong Mingming, not knowing what to make of this.
Dong Mingming nodded with difficulty. Classmate Gu Xiao Xi, promise me that you wont think too much of it and will remain calm at all times?

As it turned out, Dong Mingmings hunch was right.
The picture wall did not get a lot of attention initially. Most everyone only talked about their own photos or those from their own class.
Suddenly, however, someone posted a screen shot.

The pebble raised a tsunami by itself. A heated discussion ensued under this photo.
