Noah's first night at the academy wasn't too comfy or harsh.
Somewhere in the middle.
He was satisfied that he atleast got a good night's sleep despite being in a different environment.
Even going as far as to rearrange the furniture to his liking so that it fits his room back at the Ashbourne House.
He woke up rubbing his eyes a bit as he proceeded to the window parting the dark blue curtains.
It was still a bit early for the sun to beam his eyes thought it was visible in the horizon rising steadily.
Noah looked at his watch.
It was early so he decided to head to the shower that was connected with his room.
"The evaluation won't begin until 8AM."
He thought as the cold and warm water cascaded across his back and front.
"...Blessed Sage, a title given to the student with the most mana and magic output, think of it like a showcase of skills and abilities to see those talented..."
"And among all the 200+ students, only one can claim that title."
"There are only two years of studying in the Academy..."
"So the second years already have their own Blessed Sage..."
As he thought all this, he finally stepped out of the shower.
He put on his pants, socks, white shirt, red tie and the final black academy blazer as he buttoned it.
The final touch were the shoes and student watch.
Noah tapped gently as he saw the message icon glow with a one.
He opened it to reveal a message.
"Oh, I forgot these things have an in built messaging app..."
[Maya: Hey, we meeting at the bus stop?]
Noah proceeded to type on the holographic keyboard that had appeared.
[You: Sure, just about to leave the dorms]
[You: Also how did you find me and text me?]
[Maya: uhhh...I already know your student ID number so I just searched it up...]
"Ohhh...sometimes I be forgetting the tiniest of details," Noah muttered closing his eyes and then opening them again.
[You: Oh, great to know...]
Noah replied and then shutting off the watch.
"I should really get going...I need to arrive early and see the students that come in...one by one maybe I can be able to find them all..."
He thought as the 5 individuals images took form in his head.
After descending the dorm stairs and making his way outside to the bus stop, Noah saw her from a far.
She was dressed in the same attire, though being an assistant Maya wore a trouser instead of the academy's skirt.
Her dark purple hair cascaded effortlessly over her shoulders as she pushed some strands behind her ear.
She noticed Noah and waved.
Noah lifted a single hand up as he approached her.
"Good morning Maya..."
"Good morning to you too Noah.."
For the next few minutes they didn't say anything as the mana powered bus arrived.
Taking their seats beside each other, Maya took out a book and began reading.
Noah just gazed out the window taking in the scenery he had missed yesterday since he fell asleep.
The other students in the bus just chatted getting to know each other.
After what seemed like an hour, the bus arrived at the destination which was the Tuition Cube.
Noah and Maya alighted and were already on their way to the magic department.
"Seems like the second years already arrived earlier than I thought..."
Noah mumbled looking at the different students carrying books and papers around, others getting into lecture halls and classes.
Finally Noah and Maya arrived at the hall where they would get evaluated.
Some students had already arrived about 20 of them.
One particular figure caught Noah's attention.
"...I knew she would be early..."
Noah muttered to himself whil looking at Amy.
He proceeded to look at the other students as he noticed another main character.
A female with blonde hair, brown eyes and beautiful in every way possible.
Unlike the others, she didn't have her blazer on, making her standout.
He looked more around and couldn't identify the remaining main characters.
So he decided to just relax as they continued coming in.
"I probably won't get to see them all until the classes officially start..."
After a while, they had began being too much that Noah couldn't keep track and before long professor Sharon had arrived
She had a large crystal sphere being helped by 4 students to carry it, as it was placed at the centre of the room.
The room they were in was a big hall that had the chairs going upwards and in a circular motion.
Professor Sharon then began.
"We shall begin immediately, just showcase your most powerful skills and abilities to the best you can..."
"The crystal is durable but it doesn't mean it can't break..."
"I will follow the list according to the best scored from top to bottom according to your entrance exams..."
"First is the magic department..."
The main characters are probably the first on the list...no exception...'
'First is probably Amy...'
Noah thought as he sat back looking at professor Sharon who had her watch open and scrolling through the holographic window.
"Okay first on the stage is..."
The room fell silent.
