At the airport terminal, the plane to S City was at the airport, waiting for the passengers to check their tickets.
Qiu Xingyuan stared at the heavy-duty planes outside the airport, his eyes filled with confusion. From time to time, he would steal glances at Qiu Tong, but he could not bring himself to ask.

Qiu Tong followed her gaze and froze in surprise—why was he here?!
Jin Yang also sensed Qiu Tong’s gaze. He remembered his promise to Song Yan, but it was too late to turn around and hide.
“They said that you had something to do and left first?”
“Why aren’t there any guards with you? Where are your subordinates? Where did they go?”
Qiu Tong blurted out in confusion as she quickly blocked Jin Yang’s path.
Jin Yang knew that he couldn’t avoid her, so he lied and replied perfunctorily, “There was a last-minute cancelation in my itinerary. But my men were already sent over.”
Qiu Tong raised her eyebrows, but when she saw the faint mark on the side of Jin Yang’s face, her expression changed to astonishment. She could not help feeling puzzled.
Why would the mark disappear and reappear again?
Qiu Tong raised her hand, wanting to touch the mark, but Jin Yang instinctively dodged.

According to the seat number on the boarding pass, Qiu Tong noticed that Jin Yang was sitting in the same row as them. They would be sitting next to each other.
Qiu Xingyuan’s sharp eyes could tell that something was amiss. He signaled to Qiu Xingqiao with his eyes and suddenly said, “I’m a little airsick and need to sit in a seat by the aisle.”
Qiu Xingqiao noted his signal and took the initiative to tug at Qiu Tong’s sleeve. “I’m a little scared. I want to sit next to you.”
Qiu Tong saw that the usually independent children were being strangely clingy. She turned to look at Jin Yang.
Qiu Xingyuan said in a low voice, “Uncle won’t fight with us for seats, right?”
Qiu Xingqiao did not say anything else. He just pulled Qiu Tong to sit down and sandwiched her between himself and Qiu Xingyuan. They looked at Jin Yang warily like two bodyguards.
Qiu Xingyuan took the initiative to fasten Qiu Tong’s seatbelt and reminded her stiffly, “Safety first!”
Qiu Tong was stunned by their attentions. She blinked and looked at Jin Yang.
Why did she feel like she was being treated like an object?!
