Chapter 220: Accusation
Professor Dong turned on the light. The black chimpanzee in the cage slammed against the bars and growled.
Qiu Tong maintained her composure. Professor Dong seemed very satisfied with her reaction. “Have you heard of the human modification plan?”
He walked to a whiteboard filled with chemical equations and wiped away equations with an eraser.
Qiu Tong frowned and shook her head. “No.”

Professor Dong’s eyes were filled with fervor as he spoke, but Qiu Tong did not understand.

Professor Dong flipped through a thick stack of documents. He held up two bottles of chemicals excitedly and drew them into a syringe.

It was evening when the two of them came out of the secret room. Qiu Tong drove Professor Dong home.
Outside the high-end apartment complex, Professor Dong suddenly heard rustling sounds from the bushes. He hurriedly pulled Qiu Tong to his side. Qiu Tong was annoyed by his actions, but she told herself that Professor Dong had already paid her deposit and she could not attack her employer.

Professor Dong nodded and tidied his jacket before ringing the doorbell.
Qiu Tong watched him enter his house. She fiddled with her curly hair as she stood by the roadside to hail a taxi. She did not know that someone had secretly taken a picture of her and Professor Dong!
