I Was a Loner, but My Class Got Summoned to Another World… Chapter 363

The ship began to rock even stronger—the waves had picked up considerably. His three creatures worked hard to keep the ships safe, breaking the largest of waves before they crashed into them.

Logan, on the other hand, was getting ready to use either Zephyr's Tempest's Wrath or Thunderbird's version of the same skill. Being flying creatures, they could share the same ability, though the effects varied depending on their elemental affinity.

Zephyr's version focused more on the wind element—producing blades of wind. Meanwhile Thunderbird's version of Tempest's Wrath, in contrast, controlled the surge within the storm—lightning, pressure, and charge. As someone from Earth, Logan understood the importance of the positive and negative charges within a storm. That knowledge made Thunderbird's version even more dangerous when timed correctly.

On his left hand, he was preparing to channel wind. On his right, lightning. The clouds above had already begun to discharge electricity.

But Logan knew it wasn't time yet. He would just waste mana if he acted too early.

Meanwhile, Rubina and Serana were preparing to summon Silvia, who would bring in his two flying beasts. The issue was that Stormwing was almost at level 80. If they could wait just thirty minutes, he might emerge already evolved.

Behind him, Lady Elara was shouting orders. Logan didn't need to turn to know what she was doing—she was organizing the crew. Non-essential personnel were being guided into the cabins while sailors scrambled to tie down anything that wasn't already secured. Some held on to the sails while others fastened the cannons with chains.

Regal was helping with both tasks. The spider shot webs and pulled to assist the sailors on the sails and shot sticky webs to anchor down loose equipment.

Logan thought about doing the same for the other ships. Although they were smaller, they'd need help once he had the main vessel under control.

The clouds coming in from the south covered the morning sky, making everything look as dark as night. Thunder roared and lightning flashed. The storm wasn't ordinary. It moved too fast and carried too much pressure—it was more like a hurricane, the fast-moving kind that didn't linger for long.

Still, Logan didn't feel much danger.

His three creatures swimming ahead of the ships were still pushing forward normally, while Sea-King absorbed any lightning that got too close to the ship.

"Half an hour… just half an hour," Logan whispered, steadying his breathing. He was nearly ready to cast his skill to take pressure off his beasts. He could feel their fatigue through the Empathic Link. They could keep up this pace for a while, but if they pushed too hard, they'd burn out long before the two-week journey was over.

Logan raised his left hand—the one tied to wind—and activated Tempest's Wrath.

A calm formed around them, like the eye of a storm. Winds swirled in a controlled spiral, nullifying the effects of the outer storm for at least a half-kilometer radius. The mana drain was intense, but manageable—he could likely keep it up for twenty to thirty minutes. After that, it would be his creatures' turn to take over.

The three ships grouped as close as they could. There was no immediate danger, but the storm outside still tried to push through. At times, massive waves clashed against the outer edge of his skill, breaking the balance and pulling the ships to one side.

His hand trembled slightly as he struggled to keep the storm under control. Logan had to brace himself against the rail, conjuring a tendril of dark energy to anchor his body. He was breathing hard—Tempest's Wrath was sapping his mana faster than expected.

Then, a water spout formed just outside the ship—a towering column of wind and spray that began to clash directly with Logan's artificial storm.

The moment the two forces met, Logan felt it. He had to push even more mana into the skill just to keep it stable.

"Everyone get ready! I'm struggling here—I might have to recast the skill. Some of the outer storm will break through for a few seconds!" Logan shouted over the roaring wind.

He waited only a few seconds more. He was running out of time. There was no other choice—he'd have to use the backup Tempest's Wrath.

He activated the second storm.

Both began to swirl around him—twin vortexes of opposing force. They didn't merge peacefully. They clashed and disrupted each other, even as they worked together to resist the pressure from outside. The water spout raged in defiance, as if it were alive—this wasn't natural. Something was causing it, something wind-based. Logan could feel it. Even with both storms active, he was being pushed back.

"Tell Silvia to bring one of the Thunderbird's and Zephyr! Leave Stormwing for it to evolve before coming!" Logan barked, straining to hold both skills. He had hoped to last longer, but with two active Tempest's Wrath spells, his mana was draining at an alarming pace. He wouldn't last more than a few minutes—barely enough time for Silvia to lock onto them.

"Alright!" Rubina called back. They had just finished the teleportation array.

Help would arrive soon, but Logan's body was nearing its limit. The unnatural storm was devouring his strength. Around him, the crew watched in awe as Logan stood at the center of twin storms. His dual Tempest's Wrath formed two spiraling cyclones that spun around each other, the outer one constantly clashing with the incoming water spout.

"Damn it!" Logan growled, gritting his teeth.

No matter how hard he pushed, one person shouldn't be able to fight against a storm . At least… not yet. Not before his evolution.

This was a grim reminder of his current limits.

"Lisa! Use Holy Nova! It should offset some of the outside pressure and give us the time we need for Silvia to arrive!" Logan shouted.

His storms were on the verge of collapsing. His mana was down to a third—and dropping fast. One more push, and he'd be empty.
