I Was a Loner, but My Class Got Summoned to Another World… Chapter 367

Being able to stay up in the air, Logan was gently floating about. His wings only needed to flap slightly to help him go higher, but ultimately, they weren't needed if he just wanted to stay in the same spot.

"I expect no less from a real blessing, this is what they should be. I thank you for providing such an ability. Now I need to continue so I can fulfill my end of the deal," Logan said, looking at Silvia, who nodded in understanding.

"I will be going now… but what if I want to find you again?" Logan asked. He wasn't sure if he would ever get another audience with the spirit. But if he ever got strong enough to tame one, he wanted to at least know a way to find the powerful wind spirit again.

[We move too much to tell you where you may find us. But do know—when the greater part of the war comes, we will be ready to assist humans once more,] the grand spirit said, its wind forming words into Logan's ear. It then reduced more of its size by entering the altar, leaving only a small sylph gliding around—as if waiting for them to leave—before vanishing entirely.

"Very well then. We will be taking our leave." Logan lightly bowed. It was the first time—besides Ferra—that he had such respect for another being that wasn't one of his own.

Silvia, seeing it was her time to act, teleported the three of them back to the ship. Zephyr, who had been blessed, began to stretch his long wings as soon as it left the portal. With ease, the large eagle went up into the sky, blowing away the remnants of the storm in mere seconds. The island had long vanished, and as for those in the ship—they were safe. It was as if the storm had simply ignored the ships as it passed.

"So… what happened? As soon as you left, it was like a shield of wind protected us. And the storm… it just continued on, leaving us completely alone," Lisa asked. She and the other girls gathered close, inspecting Logan to see what had changed. His hair… and even his aura were checked.

Before, his aura had been mostly black with the inner portion white. But now, it had a slight green at the ends and roots, as if a wind element was traveling through the black portion like a straw.

"About that—we were taken to the Temple of Wind. All of this seemed to have been a test from the Great Spirit of Wind," Logan started to explain, telling them all that had happened, and most importantly, the change that took place after he had been blessed.

"The best part of it all is that I got two new skills. I can stay in the air without wings and even enhance some of my skills with wind attribute. There's just something I had to promise… but I'll talk about it when we return to Highrule. We'll gather everyone for that talk." Logan paused. He really didn't want to tell the other girls or even Lisa yet… but they had the right to know that there was a chance of going back—and with added benefits.

Logan knew there were many in the class who wanted to return. For one, Ms. Claire—the teacher—was one of them. He didn't know what would happen to them after they left. Would it harm him?

"Well, we should be able to continue on and hopefully find the island faster now that I can control the wind. Now then… Silvia, are you going to return?" Logan asked the girl. He knew she had heard what the spirit said and was probably still deciding whether she would stay or return, now that this was over.

"Return… I haven't thought about it yet…" Silvia muttered, lost in thought.

"No, I meant will you return to Highrule. If so, you should be able to take those that want to return while we continue." Logan corrected himself, coughing lightly as he felt somewhat nervous.

"Ah—sure. I still need to finish what we were working on. I only came to help… so does anyone else want to come back?" Silvia shook her head slightly as she turned to the others, thinking about the current situation.

"I think I'll stay," Lisa said.

"Same here. I'll be able to speak with my father more during this trip. Though I think he might want to return in a few days to check on some of his creatures," Rubina added.

"If it's about that… I should be able to teleport him back when he decides to go." Logan nodded. Silvia had already set up the Roseguard mansion as one of her waypoints before the trip.

"I will return… I don't think I was meant to be on a ship. I have to continuously use my powers to stay in bat form just to not get sick," Serana said, sounding a bit guilty.

Logan knew she only came to get some blood—which he had provided freely in exchange for a pleasant night. Not like she had refused either.

"Alright, I'll ask you to return once we reach the island. Make sure to bring your minions so we can hunt when we arrive," Logan reminded her. He had high expectations for when all her minions finally reached level 80. They had already shown great improvement after evolving at level 40, so he was curious to see what would happen at level 80.

"Sure thing. They'll need blood soon as well… so remember to send some back," Serana replied.

Logan slapped his leg lightly. "I had forgotten to give you their share of blood. Here." He passed her a few vials he had refilled and forgotten in his storage.

"We'll see each other in roughly a week, you two. Please stay safe until then." Logan hugged each girl. He didn't dare do more than that—especially with Rubina and Lisa watching his every move carefully.
