"Guard Bai!" Miss Zhou cried out upon seeing his fallen figure and dragged her exhausted body towards him.
Patting his face with her petite hands, she shouted, "Wake up! Guard Bai! I said wake up!"
Tears kept trickling down her face as she kept calling him out, but Guard Bai’s eyes remained closed. He had fallen unconscious.
Meanwhile, the bandit leader was observing Miss Zhou with irritation and wariness apparent in his eyes.
’To be able to do such an attack when she’s only thirteen years old...no wonder he wants her dead!’ the bandit leader thought to himself as the image of a man appeared in his eyes.

Making his way towards her, he tightly clasped her cheeks with his hand and lifted her up.
"Aren’t you quite a naughty child?" He asked with a grin and continued, "Don’t worry, though, I’ll make sure to discipline you well starting now."
With that said, he tightly slapped her face. It was him getting back at her for the previous attack.

Miss Zhou shrieked in pain as a metallic taste filled her mouth. She hatefully glared at him while wiping the side of her mouth.
"Let’s see how long you can maintain that gaze," the bandit leader snickered, seeing her reaction while slightly raising the sword in his hand.
"No! Please! Don’t!" She cried.
"You can kill me! He has nothing to do with this!"
The bandit relished hearing her cries and pleadings
’Cry more! Shout louder! I just love that sound of yours, keke,’ the bandit leader thought with a grin and kept raising the sword until it was above his head.
Seeing that her begging was of no use, despair took over her face, but still not wanting to give up, she kept shouting for help in the hope that heaven might show mercy and make a miracle happen.
"Someone! Help us!"
"Anyone!"
"Just please save him!"
Miss Zhou cried in desperation as the sword held in the bandit’s hand glimmered fiercely before finally descending.

Miss Zhou’s entire face turned pale, and she was about to drown herself in guilt when, suddenly, Yi Chen’s figure appeared right next to that bandit leader and pierced the bandit’s heart.
