Lillian's face contorted as she felt something on her chest, squeezing it.
Her eyes fluttered awake groggily. She then gave a low yawn before glancing around.
She tried to turn her head left but found it to be stuck on something. She drifted her eyes down and saw the side of a familiar face.
Lillian gave a shaky, wry smile, 'She's still buried in my neck...' she sighed, shuffling a bit under her before stiffening.
She shivered as she felt Marionette's breath brushing against her neck. Her body tensed once she felt her move closer into the crook of her neck.
Lillian stared down at her with a defeated smile before staring at her right arm to find it free.
She ran her fingers through Marionette's long, silky black hair before stroking her head.
This seemed to elicit a satisfied moan from her as she buried even further into her neck, seeking more warmth.
'Okay... that worked against me...' she lampooned. She then noticed something squeezing her right breast.
She gazed down at Marionette's still hand that had wrapped itself around her breast. Her face flushed red.
Marionette's fingers sunk into her breast and unconsciously squeezed it like it was her soft fidget toy.
She stared back at Marionette and leaned into her ear. And with a shaky voice, she whispered:
"Mar—... Marionette... wake up."
Her words instantly woke her up. She slightly pulled her face back from Lillian's neck.
She glanced around—her eyes checking out the curtains, the ceiling, the blanket over them...
Eventually, her eyes met Lillian's face.
"Oh... good morning," she whispered before burying her face back into Lillian's neck.
"H-hold on! You can't... ah~..." Lillian immediately clasped her hand over her mouth as she felt Marionette's lips brush against her skin.
"Hm? Did you... say something, Lillian?" Marionette asked, pulling herself out from Lillian's neck and sitting up.
The white-haired girl watched as the black-haired one sat on their hips, staring down at them with the blanket still over her shoulders.
Lillian nervously shook her head, "Nope!" she then said in a shaky voice:
"Could you uh... stop groping me now?"
Marionette tilted her head at her before staring down at her hand.
"Ah..." she let go of Lillian's chest. "Apologies... that was quite... inappropriate of me..."
She may say that but Lillian swore she gave one last squeeze before pulling away.
Marionette stared at her hand before gazing back down at Lillian, who remained under her.
"Besides that... did you sleep well?"
Lillian pondered a bit before answering.
"I did actually... quite well... compared to yesterday, this one was a lot better." she then grinned at her. "Maybe it's because I had someone as beautiful as you cuddled up against me~."
"... Is that so?" Marionette asked.
"Yep! How about you then? Did you find... cuddling up to me help with sleeping?"
She silently stared down at Lillian before answering.
"It did... your body works well as a bed and pillow. Your neck was also a nice source of warmth... perhaps I should..." she leaned down, caressing the side of Lillian's neck. "Do it more often..."
Lillian shivered at her touch. She turned her face away from her.
"I-I see..." she then glanced back at her. She opened her mouth and just as she was about to say something—
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
Marionette felt something vibrate in her pocket. She tucked in her right hand and pulled out her phone.
"Ah... time to get up. How unfortunate."
After saying that, she shirked off the blanket and pulled herself off Lillian, swinging her legs over the couch and standing up.
She looked back at Lillian and pushed out her hand.
Lillian stared at it before grabbing and pulling herself up into a seated position with her help. She let out a tired yawn and stretched her back.
She then turned to Marionette and wrapped her arms around her legs, rubbing her face against her stomach.
"I don't wanna go..."
Marionette stared down at Lillian with a raised eyebrow. She then moved her hand down and rubbed the back of her head.
"It's your second day... stop being lazy."
Lillian turned her face up, smushing the side of her face against Marionette's abdomen and smiled.
"You wanna change with me~?"
Marionette's hand paused their stroking. She stood there, processing Lillian's words before reaching down.
Lillian watched as Marionette pulled her arms off her waist.
"I think not. I'm going to go change now. Will you be making breakfast?"
"Huh? Sure I guess..."
Marionette nodded, "I appreciate it." once saying that she walked out of the living room.
Lillian sighed, "Worth a shot I guess." she then unconsciously placed her hand on the breast Marionette squeezed with a reddish face.
"Heh..."

Once freshening up, having breakfast, and chatting—they left the dorm for the academy.
Their conversation over breakfast wasn't that eventful other than the fact that Lillian now knew what score Marionette had achieved.
If she remembered correctly, the Prince had around somewhere 1400. Marionette had a whopping 1459.
Lillian sighed. While those she became close with had achieved a score above 1000, she was left here with half of that to her name.
'I'll just do some more... "drugs" when I'm alone or something.'
The "drugs" she was talking about were obviously the affinity pills. She doubted she didn't have enough for a few Major qualities.
Lillian glanced around at her surroundings. Nothing particularly special happened on their way to the Academy building.
The Bazaar was as bustling as ever.
The "sun" was as bright as ever.
Marionette was by her side like...
"Eh?" Lillian looked around, glancing at the crowd of commuting people around her before clutching the sides of her head in frustration.
Where was Marionette? She was just right beside her. It couldn't be that she had lost her again, right?
Lillian checked the time on her phone and discovered that she had about half an hour before she had to get to class.
'YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS, MARIONETTE!'
