Batista vs Bloomingdale.
Their appearances were commendable, but only a few in the crowd recalled these 2.
What? Do you expect them to remember who they are? So what if they appeared during last year’s Bloodren 10 competitions?
The only reason people even recognized the Bloodren 10s from the previous years, was because one or 2 people said something in the crowd, and it spread like wildfire.

Within the arena, It spread out like a virus, with more and more people now knowing these fighters were older Bloodren 10s.

Understand that moving from Bloodren 10 to Bloodren 9 was actually the simplest move in the pyramid of Power for people in Departments 1, 2 and 4.
After that, moving from one stage to another becomes difficult—extremely difficult.
A good example to look at is the fact that most people, on average, use 15 plus years to move from Bloodren 8~7.
Many in the crowd sneered.
It’s fascinating to know that after graduating from Bloodren Zero, only then can one enter into the lowest lowest ranks within the Order.
From their understanding, there are hundreds or positions one will have to pass through before they can dream of being a notable figure worth remembering and mentioning.
That was Brutal circle of power in their world.
Truthfully, it would be insane to think they can become a Coterie or Lieutenant in the blink of an eye just like that.
Still, if you’re really special, the Order will hold special examinations for you to assess if you can complete each step.
Take little Sayako for example. She started her first exam at the age of 5. Now, she’s 7.
She took only a year to go through all Examinations and steps... something that should have been impossible.
Yet she did it with ease without breaking a sweat. And by the Age of 6, she was granted the title of Department Head.
It was funny how talent often arises in the darkest hours.
Just how did it come to be that such a little child could be a Department Head in charge of men and women who were hundreds of years older than she?
Well, the answer was probably one the church would say was Divine Intervention.
It was a common fact that any children birthed by people here, are sent to the many orphanages owned by the HOLY CHURCH.
Nuns and priests watched over these children, secretly protecting these orphanage grounds from creatures of the night.
One day, a deadly Vampire and its minions had infiltrated the orphanage, turning several children into Ghouls. Many, including Sayao’s friends, all perished.
But you see, Sayako was different.
She mercilessly slaughtered over 300 ghouls on her own without any knowledge or prior training.
And by the time reinforcements came, she was standing over the chaotic scene, looking at her favorite cookie jar that had been destroyed.
Was she angry because she lost people? Or was she angered because her favorite cookies had been smashed? No one truly knows.
The girl proved her worth, as did many others like Winhest who were clearly in his 20s.
That’s right, Winhest was just 27.
For him, no special treatment of that kind was given.
When others took years to advance from one Bloodren to another, Winhest advanced swiftly with no hiccups.
And when he finally became a true member, entering in the lowest ranks, each month one could hear of his advancement to the next rank, just like that.
Over 98% of those here take years and decades to move up.
But, there’s always that 2% like Winhest, who can seem to perform supernaturally.
All in all, everyone more or less felt that if you get delayed at a simple startup point like Bloodren 10, then you were unworthy of remembrance.
So why should they remember Batista or Bloomingdale? Do you know how many things have happened in just this past few months, talk less or 1 year?
No matter how powerful you think you are, if you don’t live up to expectations and succeed, you will be forgotten in the wind.
Only the Bloodren 9s who had been with him, could still recall his face.
There were also some older Bloodren 10s in the crowd who had fought on the earlier days of the competitions.
Seeing as Batista and Bloomindale had reached the center stage, the host gave the signal and both sprung into action before many could blink.
Batista’s shard turned out to be a Rope, while Bloomindale’s was a hammer.
Finally, it was time to dance.
The battle commenced in a roar.
Levon was amazed, who was watching from the fighter’s locker room.
You would think a battle involving a rope and a hammer would be uninteresting.
But reality made Levon aware that one should never underestimate the capability of any shard, despite its appearance... especially if it was taken from a high-ranking shard pile.

Bloomindale sneered, concentrating on dodging Batista’s attacks. "You think it will be that easy to win this fight? Think again!"
~Bam! Pah! Boom! Boom! Boom!
The fighters exchanged blows relentlessly, both sides giving it their all.
"They only have roughly 2 minutes to go. Although this Bloomingdale isn’t bad, the odds of him winning are low."
Hendrix who was watching the thrilling match from the locker space, slowly pushed his glasses into his face with concluded scrutiny.
In his eyes, Batista had all the advantages. What’s more...
Hendrix’s eyes narrowed at Bloomingdale’s thin legs.
"There’s no helping it. The big muscled guy will lose."
Blooomindale fell to the ground as if confirming Hendrix’s verdict.
"CALL!" The host began. "Batista, wins!"
Several people nodded in agreement with the host’s verdict.
With that, it was official.
Batista the Giant, was now qualified to move on to phase 2.
