The joys and sorrows in this world were not interlinked as most women could not act like Xiao Siyi, making decisions and behaving in a way that they wanted to.

Xiao Siyi laughed out loud as Jiang Mingwei looked at the duo across from her. With one of them laughing wantonly and the other sporting a bright, red blush, she felt inexplicably excluded.
Jiang Mingwei couldn’t help but think of Xiao Siyi’s question just now— does she regret it? Jiang Mingwei thought about her past life and her present life. She didn’t regret the choices she made in this life, but small misses did occur in life.
