Mu Mingtang remembered them one by one. At this time, a servant girl hurriedly walked over before stopping by the entrance of the room. She looked at Mu Mingtang with an anxious expression, “Your Highness.”

“Your Highness, according to the latest news, His Majesty declared that by mobilising the troops privately and failing to comply with the royal decree, His Highness is deemed as intending to start a rebellion. As of now, he has been stripped of the title as Prince An and all the other soldiers from the country are ordered to chase and fight against him.”
Mu Mingtang sighed tiredly after hearing it. It was about time this happened, anyway. She asked, “How is the situation outside?”
“The guards are firmly posted outside the wall. Not even a fly can approach, so please rest assured, Your Highness.”
Mu Mingtang was somewhat eased with the knowledge before she continued, “When was this news relayed? When was His Highness’s title stripped?”
The servant girl thought about it before she answered, “This humble servant remembers that the corresponder mentioned it was on the 15th.”
“15th,” Mu Mingtang said leisurely, “So it was 8 days ago. By now, he would have probably heard of the news as well.”
Mu Mingtang expected that things wouldn’t remain this calm, but she did not expect for all these issues to happen faster than what she had predicted.
