Since he had just returned from his trip today and felt a bit weary, Yuga decided to turn in early after dinner.
The next morning, Yuga completed the daily training with his Pokémon and called over Vulpix and Murkrow.
"Vulpix, Murkrow, have you both wanted to evolve all along?" Yuga asked.
Both Pokémon's eyes lit up at Yuga's words, and they nodded eagerly.
Seeing their enthusiasm, Yuga smiled as he took out the high-quality Fire Stone and Dusk Stone from his system's backpack. He addressed them, "Considering your diligence and hard work in training, I'll grant your wishes today."
Although they had already guessed Yuga's intention from his words, their hearts still filled with joy upon seeing the Evolution Stones.
Both Murkrow and Vulpix took the Evolution Stones from Yuga and bit down on them. Soon, a white light enveloped their bodies as the evolution process began.
In the white light, Vulpix's body grew taller and more slender. Suddenly, its six short tails extended rapidly, resembling the unfurling of a peacock's tail feathers. The tails lengthened from six to nine.
Murkrow's stature also grew taller, its sleek figure expanding. The hat-like crest on its head became even more prominent.
Once the white light dissipated, two entirely new Pokémon stood before Yuga.
Moves: Power Swap, Will-O-Wisp, Flamethrower, Seal, Feint Attack, Flame Burst, Volt Switch, Charge Beam, Safeguard.
Moves: Peck, Wing Attack, Haze, Screech, Foul Play, Dark Pulse.
Indeed, the two high-quality Evolution Stones weren't in vain. Both Vulpix and Murkrow, previously having green Potentials, evolved into Pokémon with Blue Potentials.
"Congratulations, Ninetales and Honchcrow."
Seeing his Pokémon successfully evolve, Yuga felt extremely happy. Among his partners, Honchkrow and Ninetales were the earliest Pokémon he had captured aside from his main battle team. He had a deep emotional connection with them.
Both Pokémon were elated by Yuga's congratulations. Ninetales affectionately nuzzled Yuga's palm with its head, while Honchcrow playfully flapped her stronger wings.
Seeing the formidable Honchkrow that Murkrow had evolved into, Swellow, who had been perched on a weather tree, flew down and attentively rubbed its head against Honchkrow's feathers, much like a devoted wife. But after Honchkrow's evolution, even with its wings folded, it was taller than Swellow. It unceremoniously brushed Swellow aside with its wings.
Yuga couldn't help but mock, "Hey, hey, hey, Swellow, you're the boy here! What happened to your masculinity? Your kingly demeanor? Even if you manage to win Honchkrow over later, you'll still be henpecked!"
While Honchkrow and Swellow's interaction unfolded, Houndoom approached Ninetales from somewhere and affectionately rubbed her neck with her head.
The key was that Ninetales didn't resist this interruption. Instead, it warmly reciprocated Houndoom's affection. It was so sweet that Yuga felt he didn't need breakfast anymore; he was already full on dog food.
When did you two become so affectionate? Why didn't Dad know?
Perhaps Vulpix was too small before, not suitable for a romantic relationship with the much larger Houndoom. So, the two Pokémon had endured it, waiting until Vulpix evolved into Ninetales.
Realizing this, Yuga shook his head vigorously to dispel these silly thoughts. What am I thinking? How does any of this make sense? My adorable Vulpix can't possibly have such thoughts!
Indeed, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Even when they're in love, they don't bother telling their dad. Dad wasn't even prepared for this.
After sending off Ninetales and Honchkrow, Yuga joined the young Pokémon. He summoned two Eevee, who wanted to evolve into Vaporeon and Jolteon, from the group.
"Come on, evolve!" Yuga placed the high-quality Water Stone and Thunder Stone in front of the two Eevee.
Both Eevee jumped in delight and then placed their right front paws on the Evolution Stones.
The moment their paws touched the Evolution Stones, the evolution process began.
After Evolution, a blue Vaporeon Pokémon with a fish-like tail and a yellow Jolteon covered in spikes appeared before Yuga.

Without any surprises, the Potentials of both Pokémon changed from the Green to the current Blue Potential. A commendable achievement.
After evolving, the two Vaporeon and Jolteon lowered their heads to examine their new bodies. They looked left and right, even lifting their feet to examine them. Feeling a bit unfamiliar, they looked at each other and noticed that their buddy's appearance had also changed.
After evolving into Vaporeon and Jolteon, their bodies were significantly larger than when they were Eevee. When they rejoined the other Eevee, the rest of the Eevee gazed at them with admiring eyes.
Seeing their friends' envious expressions, Vaporeon and Jolteon, who were still getting used to their new forms, immediately became proud. They walked ahead of the other five Eevee with heads held high, their proud expressions undeniable.
They demonstrated their newly learned moves, Water Pulse and Thunder Shock, to their companions. This led to another round of cheers and excitement.
Watching their childish behavior, Yuga chuckled. Even after evolving, they couldn't shake off their childish nature.
Once they left the Ecopark, Suzuki Koen had already returned to work at the shop. Yuga informed her about the Evolution Stones and assigned her the task of selling them. Suzuki Koen readily agreed.
After freshening up, Yuga heard the roars of the Flygon from outside, knowing that Windy had returned from his run. He invited him to join for breakfast at the dining area.
At the table, Windy said, "Yesterday, a customer asked me if he could reserve a Pokémon for his daughter."
"Reserve? What do you mean? Aren't the Pokémon in our shop already available for reservation?" Yuga found Windy's words a bit confusing.
Windy explained, "His daughter's situation is different from others. She hasn't reached the age to become a trainer yet and can't purchase Pokémon from the Day Care."
