Upon hearing Yuga's response, Robert was somewhat surprised. He knew the significance of Beautie Pokéblocks very well, and he hadn't expected Yuga to readily agree to meet with his mentor.
Although Robert still had faith in his mentor's character, Yuga didn't know him personally.
Seeing Robert's surprised expression, Yuga smiled and said, "What's wrong? Didn't expect me to agree?"
Robert nodded in response.
Yuga chuckled and continued, "Since you reached out to me, it means you trust your mentor. If you trust him, then I can trust him too."
Robert was moved by Yuga's words and said, "If you meet my mentor and strike a deal, I'm sure he'll offer you a good price."
Yuga jokingly responded, "Hey, are you already selling out your mentor?"
In the end, Yuga agreed to meet with Mr. Juan at the Sootopolis Gym after the Grand Festival of Pokémon Contest. Yuga planned to support Robert during the event in Mossdeep City, which was conveniently close to Sootopolis City.
Yuga wasn't in a rush to meet with Mr. Juan because he couldn't currently provide Beautie Pokéblocks to the Sootopolis Gym. He couldn't share the formula with Misaki, and he couldn't produce enough on his own. So he could only wait until Audino come back from her training.
However, Yuga could directly supply both types of Extender Pokéblocks to the Sootopolis Gym, thanks to Robert's arrangements.
After concluding his call with Robert, Yuga felt relieved. He then noticed Chatot rapidly approaching him.
"Dear, you have to go and see, you have to go see! They're fighting! They're fighting!" Chatot's annoying voice and tone remained as consistent as ever.
Yuga asked, puzzled, "What's going on? Who's fighting?"
Chatot smirked and said, "Snorlax and Vespiquen are fighting!"
Snorlax and Vespiquen? Yuga couldn't comprehend.
Snorlax lives in the oasis of the Desert Sub-Ecopark and never moves away. Vespiqueen lives in the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark and never goes out. How come these two are fighting?
"Why do you sound so delighted?" Yuga asked, raising an eyebrow while walking towards the Ecopark.
Perched on Yuga's shoulder, Chatot covered its mouth and chuckled. "Hehe, how could that be? I'm just in a hurry."
Once inside the main Ecopark, Yuga asked Chatot, "Where are they?"
Chatot hurriedly replied, "They're in the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark."
Upon entering the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark, Yuga immediately spotted Snorlax. Vespiquen was floating not far from Snorlax.
Yuga squinted his eyes and tried to make sense of the situation. He realized that Snorlax had Sweet Honey smeared all over its mouth and hands, and many Combee were attacking it persistently.
Seeing this, he rushed over and loudly asked, "What's going on? What happened? How did Snorlax end up here?"
As soon as Yuga asked the question, he noticed the Sweet Honey on Snorlax's mouth and hands, and everything became clear.
"Snorlax, did you steal Sweet Honey from the Combee?" Yuga asked.
Snorlax waved its hand, shooing away the annoying Combee on its head, and nodded with a sheepish expression.
Yuga asked in surprise: "Have you eaten everything I gave you before?"
Snorlax nodded to Yuga again with a confused look on his face.
"My goodness," Yuga exclaimed in his mind. "That's over a thousand pounds of Sweet Honey! I left only a little for myself, and Snorlax finished it all? It's only been a few days!"
"Can't you be a bit more frugal with your eating?" Yuga scolded Snorlax, shaking his head in disbelief.
Yuga was nearly infuriated. He had thought that the Sweet Honey he provided to Snorlax would last for quite some time, but it had disappeared so quickly. The mere thought of it was heartbreaking.
"Snorlax!" Yuga exclaimed.
Snorlax looked at Yuga with an expression that seemed to say, "I don't know what you're talking about," appearing completely innocent.
Yuga thought Snorlax might be pretending to be naive. How else could it have eaten so much Sweet Honey, run out, and then come here to steal more while acting innocent?
Seeing Snorlax's feigned innocence and its full paws covered in Sweet Honey, Vespiquen and the Combee became very angry and continued their attacks on Snorlax.
Vespiquen, of course, wasn't using its full power; otherwise, it would have easily defeated Snorlax. The Combee's attacks had no effect on Snorlax's tough hide, so Snorlax seemed unfazed.
Yuga was frustrated with Snorlax's shameless behavior. He told Snorlax, "Starting today, you are prohibited from entering or leaving the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark. I won't provide you with any more Sweet Honey. You can eat Berries in the Oasis."
"Yes, yes, forbidden, forbidden!" Chatot chimed in, imitating Yuga's tone and telling Snorlax the same thing.
Yuga's words caused Snorlax, who had been acting innocent, to crumble. It widened its eyes and stared at Yuga with disbelief, as if saying, "You're heartless, you're cruel, you're unreasonable!"
"What are you looking at? I mean it!" Yuga sternly said to Snorlax.
"Snorlax... Snorlax!"
Realizing what was coming next, Snorlax stopped pretending to be innocent and even opened its eyes, attempting to appear cute to Yuga.
But Yuga wasn't swayed by Snorlax's "puppy eyes." He said firmly, "You are also prohibited from leaving the Oasis. I will instruct the Gligars and Flygons in the Desert Sub-Ecopark to keep an eye on you."
Snorlax didn't mind staying in the Desert Sub-Ecopark; in fact, it preferred not to move. However, not being allowed to eat Sweet Honey was something it couldn't accept. Ever since it had tasted Sweet Honey, other foods had become tasteless.
Yuga reprimanded Snorlax, "Have you ever thought that most Pokémon wouldn't finish so much Sweet Honey in such a short time?"
After hearing Yuga's words, Snorlax couldn't help but look away, avoiding Yuga's gaze.
Yuga was getting frustrated. He had thought Snorlax was just a simple-minded Pokémon, but it turned out to be quite cunning.
Yuga called out to Chimecho, who had been playing in the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark for a while.
Chimecho flew over, looking puzzled and seemingly asking, "Why did you call me?"
Yuga instructed, "Take Snorlax and return it to the Desert Sub-Ecopark."
Although Chimecho complied, it couldn't help but think, "Why do I always have to do the heavy lifting?"
And so, Snorlax was taken back to the Desert Sub-Ecopark by Chimecho and "confined."
In reality, with Snorlax's strength, it could have easily broken free from Chimecho's Psychic power. However, it didn't want to provoke Yuga's anger and decided not to resist. From then on, Snorlax had to endure a Sweet Honeyless existence.
The most painful thing in the world is to have something and then lose it.
