"When did you guys arrive?" Yuga asked the young ones.
With the large crowd watching, Yuga hadn't noticed their presence until now.
"We've been here from the start!" Akihito replied obediently.
Yuga nodded and said, "Come with me for a moment. I have something to discuss with you."
Although the young ones were unsure of why Yuga wanted to talk to them, they followed him obediently.
Yuga didn't return to the old shop but took them to the new shop, and he also brought Arata Sena along. They all entered the new shop's meeting room.
Yuga gestured for them to sit down and said, "I have something important to discuss with you that concerns your future. I hope you'll consider it carefully."
The young ones nodded, their faces filled with curiosity.
Yuga continued, "Soon, I'll take up the position of Verdanturf Town's Gym Leader, as you know."
The older ones, Arata Sena, and Akihito had an inkling that Yuga's discussion would be related to the Gym.
"The League has granted my Gym ten Gym Apprentice slots. The League will provide these apprentices with their initial Pokémon and some training expenses. I want to offer each of you one of these slots. If you have no objections, I'll submit your names."
Yuga explained further.
While Akihito's younger siblings were too young to fully understand the implications, Akihito and Arata Sena, who were in their teens, grasped the significance. Yuga was offering them a tremendous opportunity, so they nodded enthusiastically, agreeing to Yuga's proposal.
As for the four younger kids, they let their older brother, Akihito, make the decision for them.
The League officially doesn't allow children under ten to register as trainers. However, Gym Apprentices are an exception. As long as they are five years or older, they can be recruited as Gym Apprentices. However, there are significant restrictions for Gym Apprentices aged between five and ten.
Firstly, they can only have one Pokémon, which must be their initial Pokémon. Secondly, they are not allowed to participate in any official battles. Gym Apprentices exist mainly to be nurtured into trainers by Gym Leaders, so Gym Leaders must closely supervise and guide them until they turn ten.
"What about Sister Anya?" one of the twins asked when Yuga didn't mention their sister.
Yuga smiled and replied, "Don't worry about Sister Anya. I have other plans for her."
Yuga intended to train Anya as an exclusive breeder for the YoYo Day Care, so he didn't plan on having her become a Gym Apprentice. After all, there were only ten slots available for Gym Apprentices, and he might need to recruit more in the future.
Relieved that Yuga hadn't forgotten their sister, the young ones collectively breathed a sigh of relief.
They were all orphans who had relied on each other for support. They were terrified that they might be separated, which was why they were so anxious to ask about their sister.
Yuga continued, "Since none of you have objections, I'll submit your names. After everything is arranged, Anrin, Anmu, Ayagiri, and Ayato can leave the Trainer School. I'll enroll you in a regular school where you can learn normal subjects. As for the knowledge related to being trainers, you can learn that from Beidou in the future."
Yuga hadn't known how to arrange things for Anya and Akihito's younger siblings, so he had initially sent them to the Trainer School in town.
Now, with a better plan in place, there was no need for them to attend the Trainer School. After all, the Trainer School offered limited knowledge, which was why Luna and Rand had chosen to withdraw from it and attend the Prep Camp instead.
As for enrolling in a regular school, it was essential to ensure that the children wouldn't grow up without basic literacy skills. Learning general knowledge in a regular school wouldn't be as time-consuming. This would allow them to spend more time learning from Beidou to become qualified Gym Apprentices.
Though they were a bit reluctant to leave the Trainer School where they had made friends, the young ones were obedient and nodded in agreement. They trusted Yuga's judgment.
With these arrangements settled, Yuga returned to the old shop.
Upon seeing Yuga's return, Suzuki Koen, looking anxious, rushed over and asked, "How did it go? What about that troublemaker?"
Yuga smiled and reassured her, "It's all fine now. You don't need to worry. The issue with the troublemaker has been resolved."
Suzuki Koen breathed a sigh of relief. She had been unable to attend Yuga's battle with Harris due to store responsibilities and had been anxiously waiting for his return to hear what happened.
Yuga briefly explained the situation to Suzuki Koen, and then Audino approached them and spoke a few words to Yuga. Following this, Yuga hurriedly left with Audino.
Suzuki Koen was used to Yuga's frequent conversations with Pokémon and had a general idea that Yuga could understand Pokémon language.
Yuga followed Audino and arrived at the grove in the foothills of the volcano within the Volcano Sub-Ecopark. Several Eevees were already waiting there, and they eagerly led Yuga towards their newly constructed nest.
Audino had brought Yuga here urgently because Leafon and Glaceon were about to give birth. They had conceived around the same time, and their due dates had coincided.

Both of these eggs were light brown in color with many dark brown spots, indicating that they would hatch into Eevees.
The father of these two eggs was the same Pokémon, That is Flint's Flareon. Therefore, whether they took after their father or mother, they would both become Eevees.
Although Leafon and Glaceon had successfully laid the eggs, they were both physically exhausted. Yuga asked Audino to bring over pre-prepared Moomoo Milk and Sweet Honey to help them recover their strength.
