His gaze shifted to Gardevoir, whose eyes were emitting a deep purple light. Boss Bear realized he was in trouble today.
It must take incredibly terrifying psychic power to freeze so many people simultaneously in an instant!
"Boss Bear, right? Don't just stand there. It's our turn," Yuga said with a smile to the bewildered Boss Bear.
During Boss Bear's momentary shock, one after another of his subordinates disappeared right before his eyes, as Gardevoir employed Teleport to transport them away.
It was terrifying! Absolutely terrifying!
The ability to use Teleport without contact, simply making opponents vanish with it, was truly frightening.
In Boss Bear's perception, Gardevoir's power existed on an entirely unknown level.
Meanwhile, outside of the Truly Adorable Day Care, the police who had been guarding the area suddenly saw numerous people descending from the sky, like dumplings falling.
"What are you standing around for? Hurry up and capture them!" Liliana shouted to her subordinates.
She, too, had a brief moment of confusion earlier. She couldn't help but feel that her role as the police chief was somewhat diminished with Yuga, the excessively powerful Gym Leader, around.
Sometimes, having a god-like teammate made her contributions seem negligible, a happy predicament indeed.
With these thoughts in mind, Liliana joined the arrest operation.
As Liliana's team rushed to capture the criminals, the battle between Yuga and Boss Bear officially began.
Boss Bear had lived on the edge for years, so even if he knew today's situation was grim, he couldn't just surrender quietly.
Jolteon's Thunderbolt attacks created a dense electric web that descended upon Gengar and Mismagius like a cage.
Gengar and Mismagius were exceptionally fast, their ghostly forms weaving through the cage of lightning like true phantoms, avoiding any damage.
Jolteon that Yuga facing was only recently promoted to the Elite level, but its strength was considerable. The Thunderbolt cage it conjured was quite devastating.
The Mightyena stood silently beside Jolteon, ready to prevent any close-quarter attacks on its teammate.
Jolteon was not suited for melee combat.

Unfortunately, it faced the even stronger Gengar and Mismagius.
Gengar and Mismagius held hands, their eyes glowing with intense purple light, simultaneously using psychic powers.
An indigo-colored barrier instantly formed, blocking all of Jolteon's Thunderbolts.
Seeing Gengar and Mismagius's combined strength, Boss Bear's face turned extremely unsightly, his heart sinking to the depths.
He had indeed overestimated himself and underestimated Yuga.
Fame doesn't come without merit. It was only now that he truly understood this principle.
Then, under Boss Bear's close watch, Mismagius within the Thunderbolt cage suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind the Mightyena.
"Watch out!" Boss Bear hastily warned, but it was already too late.
Mismagius's eyes emitted twin blue lights, striking fiercely at the Mightyena's waist. The Mightyena's attempt to counterattack with a bite missed its mark.
Mismagius's ability was not Teleport but "Shadow Sneak," which allowed her to lurk in another dimension, waiting for the right moment to launch a surprise attack. It was impossible to defend against.
After being hit by Mismagius's sneak attack, the Mightyena was sent flying backward, creating some distance between it and Jolteon.
Gengar's movement, noticing the situation with the Mightyena, momentarily stalled. Simultaneously, Gengar, who was inside the Thunderbolt cage, appeared above Jolteon.
Gengar smirked mischievously, raising a massive Shadow Ball and smashing it onto Jolteon's forehead.
Jolteon had no idea how Gengar had appeared right in front of it. When the Shadow Ball came crashing down, it could only widen its eyes in shock and do nothing else.
Jolteon was sent rolling on the ground after being struck by the Shadow Ball, and Gengar closed in once more.
On the other side, the Mightyena that had been thrown back was also in a difficult situation. Mismagius's Mystical Fire formed a ring on the ground, trapping it inside.
Raging crimson flames burned, preventing the Mightyena from leaping out in any direction. The flames were under Mismagius's control, intensifying from all sides.
The air was filled with the smell of burning fur, as the Mightyena's coat was licked by the flames over and over.
The Mightyena was trapped by Mismagius's Mystical Fire, while Jolteon was disoriented by Gengar's Shadow Ball, desperately trying to escape in all directions.
It wasn't easy for Jolteon to utilize the Thunderbolt cage, and once it was broken, using it again would be very difficult.
In this way, the Mightyena and Jolteon were overwhelmed by Gengar and Mismagius. And Boss Bear was successfully captured.

After the criminals were captured, there were still many tasks to handle.
The suspects needed to be interrogated, and contact needed to be made with the authorities in Sinnoh. In any case, there was plenty of work to be done.
However, Yuga typically didn't get involved in these matters, leaving it to Liliana to handle.
