Kurosawa Daichi thought for a moment about the distance between the three locations and then said:
"No problem, it's not far, and it won't cost much."
"I don't intend to demolish all the abandoned factories and old residences here. Instead, I want to refurbish them into something like a maze or a haunted house, as part of the Pokémon Paradise's facilities.
Of course, not all of them will be preserved; a considerable portion needs to be demolished since they are no longer structurally sound."
As he spoke, Yuga pointed to certain areas.
Kurosawa Daichi thought Yuga's idea was excellent.
With so many factory buildings and residences, tearing them all down would not only be a massive project but would also generate a lot of waste that would be challenging to dispose of.
However, by preserving a significant portion, their work would be much easier, saving both costs and time. Many of these buildings were still sturdy, having once been factories. With some repairs, they could still be used.
Moreover, Yuga's Pokémon Paradise was designed for his own Pokémon's use, and the design could be more casual, without the need for perfection.
"I'd like to build a training field in the central area, not too large, maybe... about this size."
Yuga roughly sketched a circle in the center of the map with his pen.
After all, this Pokémon Paradise was meant to accommodate guests from his Pokémon Day Care, and most of these guests were trainers. They would stay in Verdanturf Town for at least ten days, during which they couldn't neglect training their Pokémon.
So, the training field was specifically for their regular Pokémon training.
Kurosawa Daichi nodded in agreement.
"Also, here and here, I'd like to build a dormitory and a cafeteria."
Yuga pointed to the area next to the training field and the Pokémon Paradise's entrance.
Currently, guests of the YoYo Day Care usually stayed in the new shop's guest rooms. However, this arrangement couldn't go on forever, as the shop was primarily for business and couldn't allow guests to wander freely inside.
Since the Pokémon Paradise was already being built, adding a dormitory seemed like a logical step. If there was a place to stay, there should also be a place to eat, hence the cafeteria is needed.
However, Yuga wouldn't provide these for free. The prices would be the same as outside; it was merely a convenience for the guests.
Although he had money, Yuga wasn't a philanthropist. He offered what he could, and the guests had to pay for their needs.
After listening to Yuga's descriptions, Kurosawa Daichi confirmed that there were no issues.
Then, the two of them continued to discuss the Pokémon Paradise's internal construction details for a long time. They discussed the Pokémon Paradise's division into various zones, what facilities should be in which areas, the required green space, and more.
Kurosawa Daichi had rich experience and was a professional, providing Yuga with valuable insights. They also had their own designers who could offer suggestions on many details.
After multiple discussions with Yuga, the construction of the Pokémon Paradise began.
However, on the fifth day of construction, Kurosawa Daichi encountered difficulties and sought out Yuga again.
When Yuga arrived at the construction site, he saw a large group of Pokémon confronting the workers with hostility.
These Pokémon were all stray Pokémon from Verdanturf Town.
Seeing these Pokémon, Yuga understood what was happening. He had been busy lately and had temporarily forgotten about this issue.
This area had many abandoned factories and uninhabited old residences, making it a gathering place for many stray Pokémon in Verdanturf Town.
However, once construction started, these Pokémon would lose their shelter.
The leader of these Pokémon was a relatively high level Manectric. When Yuga arrived, it was leading a few Poochyena in a menacing charge towards the workers.
Yuga called out Florges, and with a gentle nod, a green light appeared under the feet of those stray Pokémon, creating a lush grassy area.
In the depths of the grassy area, countless slender vines swiftly bound the Manectric and the Poochyenas that had lunged at the workers.
The Manectric and Poochyenas struggled fiercely, but the vines conjured by Florges were too strong for these small fry to break free from.
Seeing Yuga arrive, the workers breathed a sigh of relief.
The workers respectfully greeted Yuga as he approached. His status had certainly changed from before.
Yuga nodded in acknowledgment of the workers and then stepped forward to address the stray Pokémon.
"Shall we talk about this?"
Yuga said to the Manectric, the leader of the group.
"Manectric...Manectric..."
The Manectric, aware that Yuga was the one behind the construction of the Pokémon Paradise, glared at him angrily and refused to cooperate.
"If you don't cooperate, we can't resolve this situation. Besides, do you think you can resist me?"
Yuga said in frustration.
Hearing Yuga's words, the Manectric hesitated and then made low, plaintive sounds.
"Florges, release them."
Seeing that the Manectric and Poochyenas were no longer agitated, Yuga instructed Florges.
Florges nodded in response, and a green light vanished from under their feet, freeing the Manectric and Poochyenas.
Yuga asked the Manectric.
The Manectric stared at Yuga for a moment, then reluctantly nodded. It realized that it couldn't resist the human before it.
So, the Manectric led the group of stray Pokémon, following Yuga to an open area.
Among this group of Pokémon, Yuga could see various species, including Wurmple, Shroomish, Zigzagoon, Seedot, Poochyenas, Lombre, as well as Rattatas, Raticates, Oddishes, Sandshrews, and Marills, among others. In short, it was a diverse group with a variety of Pokémon.
Taking a glance at this sizable group of stray Pokémon, Yuga spoke to the Manectric.
"You should know that I've purchased this land, and I have the right to drive all of you out."
Upon hearing Yuga's words, the Manectric and the other Pokémon behind it growled lowly at Yuga, while the other Pokémon glared at him.
This detestable human! The evil capitalist!
Seeing these angry expressions from the Pokémon, Yuga rubbed his nose.
What's this? Have I unwittingly become the villain here? I bought this land with my money; shouldn't I have a say in it?
"I can leave a separate place for all of you, but you'll have to follow my rules."
Hearing Yuga's words, the Manectric and the other Pokémon hesitated. While having a place to stay was good, they were reluctant to obey humans. Many of them in this group had been abandoned by people and held no love for humans.
"What's the matter? Do you want to take advantage of the situation?"
Seeing the hesitation among the stray Pokémon, Yuga was also displeased.
He wasn't really intending to do anything to these Pokémon. But since this place was his, there had to be some discipline. In case they caused chaos or disrupted the Pokémon Paradise's environment, he needed to have some say in it!
