Before she could react, a golden light suddenly flashed before her eyes. Her neck was bitten, and she was instantly lifted off the ground.
The familiar feeling of being held in place swept through her body once again.
When Josh turned his head to look back, Chef Li was nowhere to be seen, and the cafeteria that was like a wave returned to normal.
Surrounding them were patients coming and going for meals.
Josh was placed on the dining table.
Yuze lazily poked her: "Not dead, right?"
Josh: "Meow..."
Yuze breathed a sigh of relief: "That’s good. If Ma Qi found out our new strategist got killed by a monster right under my nose, he’d kill me too."

Yuze quickened his pace.
When they reached the freezer, they indeed saw an electronic display on the door showing a countdown to closing.
There were only two and a half minutes left.
Without hesitating, they quickly entered the freezer.
This chef was clearly giving them a hard time.
The freezer was large, filled with a mishmash of various items, making it extremely difficult to find a small booklet.
Josh jumped out of his pocket.
The temperature in the freezer was too low, making the scent barely perceptible.
Even if Chef Li had handled the booklet, it would be hard to smell anything.
Josh thought for a bit and quickly sent a message in the group: [Yuze, speed up. You search the shelves above levels 6-9, Yushi take care of levels 3-6, I’ll handle level 1-3.]

The doors wouldn’t close, and the monsters were almost upon them.
Josh’s heart tightened, her mind raced for a solution.
Then saw Yuze, without saying a word, kick Yushi out.
The elevator doors closed quickly.
Trapping Yushi and the monsters outside.
