Blade tilted his head. "Which blacksmithing skill is left?"
Granny shook her head. "No, it's not directly related to blacksmithing. You need to reach Basic Mining Level 5 in order to complete my quest."
Blade exhaled deeply. Mining? He had barely done any himself, mostly buying materials from the auction. Fortunately, he had already reached Basic Mining Level 4 through his earlier mining quest, one more level and he is done.
"Then… that should be all the blacksmith skills, right?" Blade asked, glancing at Granny.
She smirked, her ghostly eyes gleaming. "Almost. There's still refining."
Blade frowned slightly. "Refining?"
Granny nodded. "Yes. Refining raw materials into pure substances—melting ores, extracting impurities, and crafting high-quality ingots. It's an essential part of blacksmithing, and without it, you can't reach true mastery."
Blade sighed but nodded in understanding. Refining was indeed a crucial step in crafting the highest-quality weapons and armor.
"Alright, then. Time to master refining," he said with determination.
With that, he dedicated another full week to refining materials, experimenting with different heat levels, purification techniques, and smelting methods. Slowly but surely, he advanced in the skill, bringing himself closer to completing Granny's quest.

The old granny wants you to become a true sculptor, one who can craft using any material and tool.

Blade had poured every ounce of his strength into perfecting his craft, refining raw materials, forging countless weapons and armor, and pushing himself to the limits. And now, at long last, he was about to complete the quest Old Granny had given him.
A few days later, after tireless effort, he finally pushed his Refining Skill to Intermediate Level. Now, all of his blacksmith-related skills—except for mining—had reached Intermediate.
Just to be thorough, he made sure to push Mining to Intermediate Level as well, ensuring there were no loose ends before stepping back to assess his progress.
As if responding to his accomplishments, Old Granny's ghostly form emerged from the sculptor's knife, her expression unreadable at first. Then, she smirked.
"You've outdone yourself, kid," she said, arms crossed.
Blade exhaled deeply, feeling both exhausted and relieved. He had only needed to reach Basic Level 5 in Refining to complete the quest, yet he had gone beyond that, achieving Intermediate Level Refining instead.
Granny chuckled. "I only expected you to do the minimum, but you went and surpassed it. You're good, kid."
At that moment, a bright notification window appeared in front of Blade, his heart pounding as he read the long-awaited message.

"thank you" he said as he looked at his new skills as Granny shook her head " I will always reward you for your hard work" she said as he nodded.
" now, do you want to go and acquire the Sword?" she asked as Blade nodded, it is now time to go and get that growth type sword he wanted.
He was hoping the Soul Sculpting knife could also change into an weapons' but he found out it can't so now he is going to get that Growth type sword.
'So, my Soul Sculpting Knife can't turn into a weapon...' He had been secretly hoping to shape it into a sword, a spear, or something useful in combat, but the skill had its limits. It was strictly a crafting tool.
That meant one thing: he still needed a weapon.
And not just any weapon.
He was going to get a Growth-Type Sword.
"Can I use the Soul Orb on the new sword I'm going to get as well?" Blade asked.
Granny nodded. "Yes. I created this skill because I wanted to grant the special abilities some monsters possess to the items I made. But... I was never that good at blacksmithing. I never reached the legendary rank in it."
She sighed before continuing. "However, I did reach the legendary rank in jewelry-making and enchanted item crafting. I even came close to it in cloth-making. But with blacksmithing... there was always something missing. I could never grasp that final piece."
She then smirked and patted Blade's shoulder. "But you? With Soul Infusion, you have something even better than what most legendary blacksmiths can create out there."
He nodded as he looked at the single Soul orb siting in his inventory, It was the Troll Warlord Soul orb, though he can't see what it can grant to an weapon he will use on but it surely be something great , given troll Warlord was an Elite monster.
Blade opened the map and found the location of the forge. "Hmm... so it's inside the lake at the end of Kesan Canyon," he mumbled to himself.
'Kesan Canyon, huh, now that I remember it, it is also the place from where Grid found Pagma Sword Dance Skill' He thought as he wondered if he can learn it if he try to imitate it.
