Incubus Living In A World Of Superpower Users Chapter 79

The door opened.

Light spilled in.

And so did Ethan, with the twins at his side—laughing, bright-eyed, and completely unaware of what was coming next.

The moment he stepped into the room, his smile wavered for half a second. He saw them—all of them.

Not just Lilith. Not just Seraphina. But the entire group was waiting in perfect silence.

His gut told him this wasn’t just a simple talk. And even though he already had a good idea of what it might be about, seeing them all like this made him rethink the actual reason behind the message.

Still, he didn’t show any of that on his face.

He kept smiling.

"Morning," he said easily, giving a small wave as he stepped further in. "You called?"

As he entered, he made his way around the room, greeting each of them with a nod or a short hug, acting casual like nothing was out of the ordinary.

Then he reached Elowen.

She didn’t say a word.

She simply opened her arms.

Without even thinking about it, Ethan stepped in and hugged her.

And while he did that, the system in his mind kept sending him alerts.

[ALERT: POTENTIAL HAREM MEMBERS DETECTED. STATUS PAGE UPDATING...]

Elowen Moonshade

Race: High Elf Queen

Affinity: Max (100%)

Bloodline Compatibility: Ideal

Status: Virgin, Single

But Ethan just ignored all of this as their bodies met naturally, chest to chest. His face settled right against her soft curves, warm and pillowy in a way that made his breath slow without him realizing it.

The top of his head brushed just beneath her chin, close enough for her to dip her face and inhale his scent if she wanted to.

Her arms wrapped around his back with a smooth, practiced ease. Not rushed. Not shy. She held him close, one hand sliding up to the back of his head while the other rested low near his waist.

Then her fingers moved—slow and gentle, threading through his hair.

She played with it softly, fingertips dragging just enough to make his scalp tingle. Each pass was calm and unhurried, like she’d done this a hundred times before and still hadn’t gotten tired of it.

Ethan didn’t pull away. He didn’t even think about it.

He let himself lean in just a little more, sinking into the warmth of her chest as her scent wrapped around him, faintly sweet, clean, and comforting.

The kind of scent that made you want to stay longer without knowing why.

Elowen’s body was soft where it counted, and firm where it held him. She didn’t shift or fidget—she just held him there, like he belonged in her arms.

She didn’t say anything.

She didn’t need to.

Her touch said everything.

And Ethan, for a brief moment, forgot why they were all gathered in the first place.

It wasn’t weird.

It didn’t feel out of place.

It just felt... safe.

She gave him a soft, motherly smile as she held him. Her fingers kept brushing his hair slowly, like she’d done it a hundred times before.

Everyone else watched in silence.

Seconds passed.

Then Lilith coughed once.

And again.

Louder the second time.

Ethan didn’t react at first, but then he chuckled softly and slowly pulled back, still smiling as he looked toward his adoptive mother.

"Jealous?" he asked, playful but not teasing too hard.

Lilith looked away with a small pout on her lips, refusing to answer.

He shook his head lightly and laughed, then walked over and sat beside her. Once he was settled, he turned to her again and asked with a playful smile.

"So? What did you want to talk about?"

The moment he said those words, the entire room changed.

No one moved.

No one answered right away.

Even the twins stopped smiling, confused by the shift in atmosphere.

Ethan’s gaze moved slowly across the room. He noticed it now—how quiet everyone had become. How still. Like they were waiting for someone else to speak first.

He glanced at Evelyn and Everly beside him. They looked just as lost.

Then he looked back at Lilith.

But she didn’t speak.

Instead, she gave Seraphina a small nod.

Seraphina stepped forward, saying nothing at first.

She reached down and slowly lifted the hem of her shirt just enough to reveal the mark on her lower abdomen.

The Succubus Crest.

The same glowing mark Ethan had seen before.

His eyes landed on it again.

Even though he’d already seen it that morning, seeing it again in this setting, surrounded by all of them, made it feel heavier. More real.

Lilith looked at him, her voice steady but soft. "Do you know what that is?"

Ethan didn’t answer right away.

He glanced at the crest, then back up at her.

A part of him wanted to say yes.

Because the truth was, he did know.

He stared at it again, already knowing what it was. The system had told him everything—how it formed, what it meant, and even the changes it would trigger.

But he couldn’t explain that to them.

Not without opening a bigger conversation about the system itself. And right now... he wasn’t ready for that.

So instead, he slowly shook his head.

"No," he said. "I don’t."

Lilith studied him for a moment. Then she nodded.

She didn’t press him.

Didn’t question it.

She just looked at the others, then back at Ethan, and said—

"That’s a succubus seal."

The room stayed quiet after she said it.

The twins looked at each other, clearly unsure of what that meant. Ethan stayed quiet, though his mind was racing.

Lilith gave a slow nod and stepped in beside Seraphina.

"It’s called a crest," she said, her voice calm. "But it’s more than just a mark. It only appears when a bond forms—something deep, not just physical.

A connection between a succubus and someone whose energy... fits."

She glanced at Ethan as she continued. "It doesn’t happen often. Most succubi go their whole lives without forming one. Even fewer ever form it with someone outside their bloodline."

Seraphina lowered her shirt again, her arms folding across her chest, but her eyes stayed locked on Ethan.

Lilith’s tone softened a little more. "You and Seraphina... that bond formed last night."

The silence after Lilith’s words sat heavy in the room.

"You and Seraphina... that bond formed last night."

It was out there now. Real. Spoken aloud in a way that couldn’t be taken back.

Evelyn and Everly sat still on the couch, the moment stretching longer than anyone expected.
