Seeing her, his expression turned strange.
"...Thalia?"
Now, this...was an unexpected newcomer. Thalia was the servant of that crazy bitch, Amelia. She was the one who had erased the traces of the assassins which Rahu had killed before he enslaved Zira.
She was also the one relaying his recent antics to Amelia. But now, seeing her running away from a bunch of cultivators.
What surprised Rahu was that she was running from a bunch of Spirit Realm ants! He clearly remembered from his memories that she was a peak Origin Realm cultivator even when he was just a slave.
But now she was injured all over, with one arm missing from her elbow down. Deep gashes all over her body and a large cut on her abdomen. Despite such serious injuries, her face was blank as she continued to dodge the attacks from the demonic cultivators.
"Hehe! Bitch, I would be sure to thoroughly enjoy your injured body!!"
"Shut up fucker! I will be the first to have her!"

"Guys, calm down. We can all take a chance on her body, there’s a whole night ahead of us!"

The demonic cultivators continued to throw nasty jeers and curses. Their laughter echoed all around the ground, but Thalia didn’t react at all; she just kept dodging all the projectiles and ran.
Rahu just stood there, crossing his arms with a small smirk.
"Do you know her?" Lucy asked curiously, her eyes didn’t seem to be all that affected by the ongoing scene.
"Oh, yes. She’s an old... acquaintance of mine," He laughed.
"Then don’t you want to save her?" She asked, curious about his standing.
"Heh, Not yet"

Thalia frowned; her situation was getting increasingly desperate. She was in this situation because of that damn curse which had sealed her cultivation.
Originally, she had found a strange-looking bracelet. Which was hidden in a small tomb. With her cultivation, it was not that hard to retrieve it, but alongside her, there were a hundred more demonic cultivators.
With two initial realm Origin Realm cultivators leading them, they had all attacked her, attempting to snatch that treasure.
She, of course, didn’t show any mercy and slaughtered them all, including the two Origin Realm cultivators. With only twenty of them left, she was about to kill them when the weird bracelet shone with corruptive black light and instantly her cultivation dropped.
From the 9th-stage Origin Realm, she fell straight to the 4th-stage Vital Core realm cultivation, with her meridians and spirit core sealed. She was quickly surrounded by the Spirit Realm cultivators.
But luckily, her Vital Core was still functional, and with her shadow element, she managed to escape from the situation, running desperately while being chased by these demonic cultivators.
That brings us to the current situation. She raised her hand and concentrated all her Mana and element in her eyes, and hoped for something to escape.
And surprisingly, a few miles away, she sensed two presences. Without hesitation, she dashed towards them. Whatever they might be, she just hoped they were from the Holy Sun Continent.

Seeing her running towards their direction, Rahu’s smirk widened. He found a stone slab and sat on it, his posture lazy and arrogant.
And as expected, a shadowy figure was seen running on the plains. In an instant, Thalia arrived outside the cave where Rahu and Lucy were sitting.
"Sir, I need a bit of help with some demo—RAHU!?"
Thalia froze, literally. Her mouth gaped wide; this was probably the most intense reaction she had in decades.
"Long time no see, Thalia. I hope you are doing well." Rahu grinned, seeing her shocked expression on her usual stoic face was certainly a treat.
Thalia quickly composed herself and hurriedly spoke. "R-Rahu quickly gets out of here. There are demonic cultivators chasing in my direction. You go fast and call an expert!"
Her voice was filled with a sense of urgency. She knew he was strong, but fighting twenty Spirit Realm cultivators? That was ludicrous. In her hurry, she didn’t even notice Lucy.
Before he could even answer, the demonic cultivators quickly surrounded them.
"Hey bitch, let’s see where you’ll run now!"
"She’s a cold one, let’s enjoy her thoroughly tonight hehe"
"Hey, look, there’s another girl here!! And she’s not a bad one"
"Wait, she is from Yvaris! Another demonic cultivator"
"She’s accompanying another ant from the Holy Sun, let’s kill him and capture these two, hehe"
The demonic cultivators were so drunk in the thought of violating the two that they didn’t even see the grin widening on his face.
Thalia’s face paled. She quickly glanced at Rahu, his confident smile giving her a sense of hope.
"Rahu! Do you have a way!? Quick use that, we’ll–"
"I do have a way, but...Why should I help you?"
His cold voice instantly pierced harshly inside. When she registered his words, she turned towards him, and a chill ran down her spine.
"Shit! H-He’s right" The realisation sank hard. She was cornered, all ends were closed. For the first time, her gifted brain short-circuited.
Both from helplessness and his cold words. She didn’t expect him to give her such an unexpected cold shoulder.
Closing her eyes, she calmed her mind. Then the most rational question rang in her mind, "What do you need?"
Seeing her, he couldn’t help but admit. She had one hell of a strong mind. Even in such a situation, she forcibly calmed her mind and followed the rational path.
"This ant! Look at him, so confident!"
"Heh, brat from the Holy Sun Continent. Today, you’ll learn why you should never mess with the cultivators of Yvaris! Let me first teach you a lesson!"
Saying that, one of the cultivators dashed from the crowd with a blade in his hand. His eyes flashed with cruel intent as he swung it at Rahu’s neck.

The blade had struck two fingers Rahu had raised towards Thalia.
