Meanwhile, a few dozen miles away, in the fight with the Earth Giant, Azmodeus weaved in and out of the air using Wind Qi. While doing so, he manipulated the elements of Fire and Lightning Qi in order to dish out the maximum amount of damage to the enormous beast's robust outer shell.
SHING! SHING!
Sword slash after sword slash with the Fire and Lightning Elements incorporated into them were sent out in great amounts!
In return, the Earth Giant released a wide array of gigantic spikes, taking out large parts of the Great Seperado Forest!
BOOM! BOOM!
Giant tree after giant tree were going down like the cutting of weeds as everything within dozens of miles were being razed and shredded!
"You really are a troublesome one, aren't you?"
Azmodeus's composed voice echoed through the forest as he jumped up and dodged out of the way of a barrage of six or so colossal spikes.
BOOOOM!
A loud explosion reverberated as those spikes seemed to have some form of the Fire Element infused into their tips, analogous to that of overexaggerated cannon shots.
SLASH! SLASH!
He slashed out at a few Qi Condensation Realm Monsters, making quick work of them before leaping off the top of a huge bear corpse, springing up like a broken coil!
BOOM!
A sonic boom resounded as he blitzed straight toward the center armor piece that covered the eyes of the Earth Giant.
RAWRRGHH!!
The beast roared before attempting to impede the advance of the ant trying to take down an elephant!
Its tower-sized leg came plummeting down from above!
"!!!"
Azmodeus was forced to evade a strike capable of injuring someone in the Peak Foundation Establishment Realm if taken head on.
Even so, he retained his momentum, rocketing toward the headpiece with unrelenting movements!
SHING!
It didn't take long before a crisp, unsheathing sound was heard. After which, a sleek black sword was seen out of its scabbard for but an instant!
SLASH!
*Spurt!*
Green and purple blood gushed out the top of the Earth Giant's head as its tough armored face piece was sliced in half!
Furthermore, a corner of its large horned head was cleaved off. Subsequently, this resulted in everything within a few hundred-meter radius being dyed a nasty green color!
"It looks like your defense is not all that impressive, huh?"
A cold gleam flashed past Azmodeus's black eyes as he dashed mid-air, resulting in a number of shockwaves shaking the topography!
BOOM! BOOM!
His stalwart figure blazed toward the exposed head of the Earth Giant like an unstoppable force of nature!
RAWRRGHH!!
The beast bellowed out with resistance in its voice as it opened its only unscathed eye, only to see the small frame of a young boy in between its gaze.
"!!!!!"
The boy was looking at it like nothing more than a meal.
It was in that precise moment that the mighty Earth Giant realized that it had met a true predator. However, it was far, far too late for it to understand this…
SHING!

A hill-sized head was sliced off the neck of the colossal beast!
A Late Foundation Establishment Realm Monster that likely ruled over a section of the Great Seperado Forest died as easily as that…
"Your strength is now mine," Azmodeus said, his fierce gaze focused on the numerous pop-ups that appeared in his vision.
BLING!

He clicked on the Assimilate option as a few more system notifications swarmed his sight.

*Ding!* *You have obtained 28,550 Stat points in Strength, 28,200 points in Speed, 28,150 points in Defense, 31,600 points in Qi, and 25,900 points in Cultivation Talent.*

After all of these system notifications sounded out, Azmodeus looked toward the decapitated head of the Earth Giant.
Not long after its abrupt departure into the afterlife, he watched the body of the beast kneel over to the ground.
BAM!
The forest shook for a second, scaring away a number of Spiritual Beasts before the truly powerful ones came onto the scene.
They were looking to take advantage of the situation and get a bite out of the fallen Earth Giant in the hopes of evolving their existences!
However, unfortunately for them, there was someone else who had a deeper yearning for evolution than all of the various monsters combined...
SHING! SHING!
A few black and red Qi Arcs were unleashed from Azmodeus as every single Body Refinement, Qi Condensation, and Foundation Establishment Realm Beast was diced up into thousands of different pieces!
Even so, he made sure to dart around the battlefield using his Level 4 Cloud Chaser's Arts. He did this so as to clean up the rest of the Spiritual Beasts, including all of the Foundation Establishment Realm ones.
Azmodeus was pretty sure he saw that enormous arachnid monster somewhere in the mix. Upon which, he cleaved off all its legs before dicing its wide body into meat chunks.
From a bird's-eye view or for all of the soldiers watching from the sidelines, this display of power looked like nothing more than a bright light show of absolute destruction!
Half of the outermost layer of the Great Seperado Forest was destroyed in this little 'clean up' mission of their General; everything was either blown up, sliced, diced, or all of the above.
Monster parts and organs flew through the skies.
There were even a few intestines of a giant mantis monster that landed right next to where the second officer in command was standing on the wall with the rest of the soldiers.
"Uhmm… Sir… What the hell is going on here…?" A soldier inquired with a face that didn't even know what emotion to express.
He, just like all the other soldiers, was prepared to give his life for the cause. But in the end, none of the tens of thousands of soldiers had to move a step from their spots.
"..."
The second-in-command officer turned his dumbfounded expression in the direction of his lieutenant. He mumbled, "I think the young General is going off on one of his killing sprees again…"
"But we did the whole 'Play the part of the crestfallen soldiers' just as the young General commanded, all in hopes of getting some fighting in today... Yesterday, he promised he would save us a few…"
The Lieutenant felt like everything was for naught, as all the rehearsing they did under their General's orders seemed so pointless now…
