To say the least, Yang Hua was heartbroken after Azmodeus's disappearance, but after climbing her way up the ladder of the Crystalom Sect and eventually being scouted by the Ice Goddess Sect, she got over the resentment she felt all those years ago.
In fact, most of her emotions were replaced with a never-ending chilling feeling that pervaded her entire existence.
At least, that was until today, when she felt something…
She felt something for the first time in years, and besides her resolve to become strong enough to find out where her father truly was, there was only one other thing that could make that ice sheet of hers melt away...
And when she made it through the entrance of a cave abode that said 'Heaven Exploding Cave Abode', only to see the otherworldly handsome man sitting atop a mat with a hand to his chin and a friendly look on his face, those feelings came back all at once.

She fell to the ground with tears streaming down her face.
"..."
Upon looking at the world-toppling beauty bawling her eyes out at the entrance to his Cave Abode, Azmodeus let out a soft sigh before getting up off his mat.
He took swift and calculated steps toward the crying woman, utterly ignoring the menacing glares he was getting from a few unknown figures looming in her shadow.

A quick lift, and the gorgeous girl was inside his firm arms as he walked back to his meditation spot and sat down with her in his lap.

Azmodeus tenderly caressed her soft bed of black hair as he looked down at those teary green eyes of hers. He said, "So you going to tell me what happened over the last few years? The suspense is killing me, hah..."
A soft chuckle escaped his mouth, ultimately becoming the key that snapped the doleful woman out of her reverie.
"!!!"
And that was when she realized that she had somehow found her way on top of his lap.
She tried to struggle out of his grasp on her. However, no matter what she did, nothing seemed to work.
So in the end, she stuttered, "L-Let me go…! I-I am the Youngest Ice Goddess of the Ice Goddess Sect, and I-"
"You what?" Azmodeus interrupted her while tickling her sides a little.
"Haha~!"
A soft, heavenly giggle escaped the Ice Beauty's pretty red lips as she melted into his embrace, trying to swat away those sneaky hands of his.
However, she had nowhere near the amount of strength required to do something like that. So, in the end, she simply took all of the tickles while letting loose a laugh that marked the first one she had in over a dozen years.
She stopped laughing and doing much of anything besides cultivating since Az left her. And he realized this as well, which was why he decided to loosen her up a little.
But it looked like a few pesky figures were aiming to intrude in on this moment of theirs…
"You dare-!?" An elderly lady exclaimed.
"Be quiet." Azmodeus interrupted the bodyguard who spoke from Yang Hua's shadow.
"!!!"
His voice was so cold and chilling that the Elderly woman wouldn't be surprised if he practiced an ice-attribute-related art of the highest level!
She was stunned for a second before she eventually snapped out of it and continued by saying, "You cannot do that to our young lady! Do you have any idea what her status represents, boy!?"
"Did you not hear me the first time…?"
Azmodeus's face darkened as he turned his crimson-red eyes behind him and asked, "Do you need me to repeat what I just said…?"
WAAAA!
"!!!"
The level of killing intent being emitted from his piercing gaze was enough to cause even the Early Unity Form Synthesis Realm Bodyguard to back up a few steps from fear.
That was until she realized what she had done. After which, her expression morphed into one of anger as she shouted, "How dare you, boy-!?"
She was about to conjure up all the power she could wield in the Unity Form Synthesis Realm. However, before she could, the young woman in the mysterious man's arms squirmed a little. Poking her head out over the top of his right shoulder, she said, "Stop it, Wei Ling."
"But, my lad-"
"That is an order," Yang Hua commanded before sneaking her way back into Azmodeus's embrace.
"..."
The elderly lady's expression became a little irritated after listening to her lady side with the man. But, in the end, she was a servant, so she backed down before returning to her lady's shadow.
After the head bodyguard disappeared, Azmodeus turned his gaze down to the cheeky woman sitting on his lap. Then, he said, "It looks like you've acquired yourself quite the lofty status, huh?"
Yang Hua's expression became a little conceited. After which, she responded, "Well, of course I have. After all, how else am I to take care of my defenseless Junior Brother when we get married?"
"..." "..." "..."
Not only Azmodeus, but even the guards in her shadow were left in a state of dumbfoundment...
They had never heard such nonsense in their entire lives!
Azmodeus was the first to snap out of his stupor. He asked, "Can you repeat that again…?"
"Ha! You are so interested in me, aren't you!?" Yang Hua replied with a haughty giggle as she snuggled even further into his lap. "But since I am feeling quite generous today, I think I will bestow upon you my words!
What I said was that I will be protecting you after we get married on a beautiful mountaintop with exotic birds and royal musicians playing in the background-"
"That's enough…" Azmodeus interjected, his expression oozing even more confusion than it did before her elaboration.
Thereafter, he said, "I think you've been drinking a little too much before coming to visit me, so why don't you go back to your sect and become sober?"
"What are you talking about, Az, Az!? I will have you marry me, you know! You won't be able to escape me this time!"
Obsessive, pulsating hearts materialized inside her dazzling greens as she clung to his chiseled body with a possessiveness that was almost overwhelming for the loot goblin...
