Infinite Range: The Sniper Mage Chapter 713

"Beast contract type has been altered."

"Master-Servant contract changed to Equal contract."

"You have obtained command over the beast Aeloria."

"You have obtained command over the beast Berenice."

Usher stared at the two contracts floating before him. Two quasi-God-tier beasts, with broken mechanics and impossible attributes. And not only that—he could clearly see they both carried the potential to ascend into true God-tier beasts.

His voice trembled. "What... are you trying to do?"

But there was no triumph in his chest, no exhilaration at the sight. Just a crushing emptiness, as if a fire in his blood had been doused with cold water.

The man he had spent his whole life chasing was stumbling like a corpse, falling before Usher had ever managed to surpass him.

It was a result Usher could not accept—would not accept.

The broken figure walked toward the glowing portal. Finally, Usher erupted, veins bulging in his neck, eyes bloodshot.

"Stand the fuck still, you coward!"

Orson turned his pale face, a flickering fire in his eyes that looked ready to gutter out. He forced a thin smile.

"Born a prince in your ivory tower, and still you can’t even curse properly. Take care of them for me... I’ll be back someday. I just don’t know when."

Hearing him speak at last, Usher felt some of the weight on his chest lift. His voice dropped into a growl.

"Where are you going?"

Orson stopped walking. Silence lingered. Finally, he whispered, confused and adrift.

"I don’t know... maybe wherever the goddess of fate decides to send me."

Usher didn’t answer, just lowered his head in silence.

But inside, his vow burned. When you return... it will be to the death. Yours or mine.

He didn’t know what had broken Orson, but the facts spoke clearly: Riley had vanished. The nine divine weapons of the gods were destroyed.

That meant this man had won.

Even if the last Abyss Node was unaccounted for, even if its effect on the Abyss remained unknown—Earth’s Infinite Dimensions world was free. The suffocating hand over it was gone. The adventurers could now shape the fused world themselves.

Orson looked at the radiant light of the portal and sighed. He could only go forward, leaving everything behind.

His body screamed with exhaustion, his soul begged him to stop. But he knew he could not.

He forced himself not to dwell on her smile, her voice, the memories that still burned behind his eyes.

He looked back, one last time, at the dark lake. His lips moved in a whisper.

And then he stepped into the portal.

"Please select your Infinite Dimensions destination."

Golden runes shimmered before his eyes, each tied to a different world.

"Because you have triumphed in an Awakening Battle, you have gained system sync privileges."

"Upon arrival, your Infinite Dimensions system will match the rules of the target world."

So that was it. Each world had its own rules, its own languages, its own cultures. The system synced so he could understand them.

"You have not chosen a destination."

"Random transfer will occur in 5 seconds."

"Warning: random transfer may lead to hostile or collapsed worlds, or unknown coordinates."

"You have one chance to cancel."

Orson stared at the runes like stars, and chuckled bitterly. He couldn’t even read them. Choose or don’t choose, what difference did it make?

He sat cross-legged, shut his eyes, and let the light consume him.

Particles of his broken body scattered into starlight, and his soul became a beam that streaked across the galaxy.

"Infinite Dimensions system syncing..."

He sank into sleep, deeper than he’d slept in years, ignoring every notification. He didn’t want to wake. Didn’t want to face anything.

If he opened his eyes, maybe Riley would be there, breakfast tray in her hands, smiling at him.

But when his eyes finally cracked open, he found himself lying on endless red earth, beneath a blinding sky where twin suns blazed.

Dozens of hulking humanoids with silver fangs crept forward through the dust, spears and blades in hand.

"Papa, is that the Fire God? He looks just like the stories... except he’s missing an arm. He looks strange."

A little girl with pointed teeth and a black scorpion tattoo on her cheek whispered.

"Quiet. No one moves until I say so."

Their leader, a broad-shouldered man with a greatsword, barked the command and crept closer.

He tapped the body of the unconscious stranger with the flat of his blade.

The man, Darulubus, nearly jumped out of his skin when the one-armed foreigner rolled over and started snoring again.

The tribe watching from afar wiped cold sweat from their brows. The little girl’s eyes welled with tears.

She sent a frantic private message to her father. What if it’s a rebel trap? Papa, come back!

Darulubus ignored her, brows furrowed. He tried to inspect the man’s attributes... and froze.

No data. No name. Nothing.

But the black hair. The black eyes. The exact features of the Fire God from their tribal records.

Except... one arm missing.

Was this the son of the Fire God?

Heat filled Darulubus’s chest. He swallowed hard, bent low, and tugged at the man’s clothes.

"Wake up... please wake up..."

"Infinite Dimensions system sync complete."

"You have discovered Exile Domain: The Sunforge World."

Orson groaned, shielding his eyes from the suns. His vision focused... and he found himself staring into the gaping fangs of a humanoid.

He rubbed his head, stretched, and smiled faintly.

Darulubus blinked. The son of a god... so polite?

Orson yawned, the heaviness in his chest easing a little. The man was clearly just a newbie adventurer.

"...Hello," Darulubus stammered.

Orson froze, turning to stare at him in shock.

The sudden shift in his gaze made Darulubus panic. He stumbled backward in terror before collapsing to his knees, forehead pressed to the dirt.

"Almighty son of the Fire God, forgive your humble servant for disturbing your slumber. I repent..."

"Wait... I can understand you?"

Orson’s jaw dropped. That wasn’t translation lag. The system hadn’t even kicked in.

The fanged humanoid was speaking English. Perfect English.

"...What the actual fuck."

He whipped his head around—and froze again.

On the horizon, rising above the red sands, stood a massive structure gleaming under the twin suns.

Orson’s breath caught. His hands trembled.

"If my eyes aren’t failing me... that’s a goddamn pyramid?!"
