The last shoot was on Syrindale Island, capturing the evening sunset, and it ended right at 7 PM.
With the photographer’s call of "We’re done," and the scene unbelievably beautiful and perfect, Ava relaxed instantly and hurried to the makeup tent.
At this hour, it was getting cold, the sea breeze constantly blowing, and she was wearing a flowing long dress, freezing.
Jace Kingsley draped a coat over her, wrapping her up.
Instantly, the chill faded away, warmth enveloped her, and Ava smiled at Jace Kingsley: "Thanks!"
Jace Kingsley smiled back, his hands in his pockets: "Ava, I have something I need your help with."
Ava blinked: "Tell me, what do you need? I’ll help!"
Without waiting for him to speak, she agreed, Jace Kingsley’s smile deepening: "There’s a charity dinner I need to attend, but I’m missing a female companion. Can you be my date?"
In the night, his eyes were clear and gentle, more dazzling than the moonlight.
Ava immediately said: "Of course! When?"
As she spoke, Ava looked at the sky, which was already darkening but not completely black, with a slight glow still visible, though stars and the moon had already appeared, making the incoming night sky a majestic sight.
"Alright, let me freshen up."
Without waiting for Jace Kingsley’s response, Ava quickly ran towards the makeup tent.
Jace Kingsley stood there, watching her figure, his gaze deepening.
"We should return tomorrow."
Ava ran into the makeup tent and saw Lauren Howell taking a call on her phone. Seeing Ava, Lauren Howell said: "Ava’s back. Should I hand over the call?"
Not knowing who was on the other end, or what they said, Lauren Howell quickly responded: "Okay."
Ava saw Lauren Howell’s expression and could almost guess who was calling. She sat in a chair, touching up her makeup in the mirror.
All these days, her shoot had been in light makeup, very clear and natural, and she personally liked it.
She also liked the style of the shoot.
Now, accompanying Jace Kingsley to a charity event required just a slight touch-up to her makeup, nothing else needed changing.
After all, it’s a charity dinner, not a beauty contest.
Lauren Howell ended the call and noticed Ava touching up, not removing her makeup, puzzled: "Why are you touching up? Isn’t the shoot done?"
