An evil energy swept the cultivators. Their hearts seized with dread.
In a flash of green, the man turned into a green-haired devil with a ghastly face. All of Heavenly Dragon City cried out in fear. [This isn’t an Immortal, but a devil!]
The devil opened its bloody maw and swallowed the three cultivators. With the clear snapping of bones, the devil chewed.
He cackled at the end, “Lower Realm’s bugs sure are tasty. I have to have my fill!”
Heavenly Dragon City’s cultivators paled at the horrible demise of the three Nascent Soul cultivators. The devil’s eyes shone scarlet and set upon the defenseless city as he swallowed.

Despair enveloped Heavenly Dragon City as darkness descended. The city was swallowed in cries of anguish.
Minutes later, the endless cries halted as Heavenly Dragon City became a ghost town, with piles of bodies gathered everywhere. This was no city, but Hell itself.
The green-haired devil turned back to his dignified persona and fanned himself, “With a filled belly, it’s time to go to Ghost Province and finish Immortal Lord’s task.”
Chen Changan had a drawing before him. He frowned, deep in thought.
Suddenly, thunderclouds gathered. A Nascent Soul lightning tribulation!
Heavenly lightning struck down with tremendous force.
Bao’er gripped the Sacred Immortal Sword, turning into a light and shooting into the tribulation clouds.
