Invincible Divine Doctor of the Beautiful Lady Chapter 138

138: Chapter 136: Kidnapping 138: Chapter 136: Kidnapping As Tangyu’s car left the residential area, a vehicle quietly emerged from the darkness, occupied by four men with hostile faces.

“He’s gone, let’s go up,” one of them said, pulling open the car door.

The four men quickly got out and moved toward the building, heading straight to Liu Shanshan’s door.

They exchanged glances, nodded to each other, and one of them knocked on the door.

Sitting on the sofa lost in thought, Liu Shanshan heard the knock and was momentarily surprised, her face soon brightening with joy, “Could it be Tangyu has come back?” Without giving it much thought, Liu Shanshan got up and opened the door.

However, as soon as the door opened, she immediately felt a strong force pushing against it, and her body stumbled backward uncontrollably.

Suddenly, everything before her eyes went dark as shadows rushed in and rapidly approached her, with several large hands reaching out to grab her.

Caught off guard by the sudden turn of events, Liu Shanshan was shocked into stillness, standing there petrified with her complexion turning pale in an instant.

She wanted to run but was surrounded by the four men.

She tried to scream for help, but a large hand quickly covered her mouth, reducing her cries to muffled “mmphs.”

She attempted to struggle, but found her limbs seized.

Without a moment to react, she was captured by the four intruders.

Various thoughts flashed through Liu Shanshan’s mind; she had never offended anyone, so why would someone break in to kidnap her?

In her shock and fear, an image of Tangyu popped into her mind.

At this moment, she desperately hoped that Tangyu would appear and protect her.

She felt like a fragile leaf in a vast ocean, in dire need of care.

Faced with the four brutal and menacing men, Liu Shanshan was naturally terrified, clueless about why they were kidnapping her.

If it was for money, she was so poor that she struggled with her own living expenses.

If it wasn’t for money, could it be for something more nefarious?

If those four men did that to her, Liu Shanshan would rather not live at all.

Her normally strong heart was silently shattered in that moment.

“Go,” one of the men uttered in a deep voice, and the two holding Liu Shanshan began to lift and carry her away.

Seeing these people about to take her away, Liu Shanshan wanted to struggle, but it was so feeble and powerless.

“Stop!” A voice, neither cold nor warm, suddenly rang out.

Though the tone was somewhat bland, it carried an authoritative force that made it impossible to resist.

At the sound, Liu Shanshan’s spirit jolted, her eyes widened instantly, her gaze quickly shifting from fear and despair to surprise and joy.

For standing in the doorway was a familiar figure—Tangyu, if not him, who else could it be?

Seeing Tangyu, Liu Shanshan knew that she was safe.

As long as Tangyu was there, she would not suffer a scratch.

This trust needed no reasoning, just as the white clouds trust the blue sky.

The four kidnappers were also startled, staring blankly at Tangyu, their expressions changing dramatically, brows deeply furrowed.

Naturally, they knew who Tangyu was.

They had been waiting downstairs all night, only daring to come up after Tangyu had left.

They were puzzled at the moment.

They had clearly seen him leave—so why had he suddenly returned?

Could it be that he had noticed their presence from the beginning?

But that seemed impossible, given how well they had hidden themselves.

Seeing the astonishment on the men’s faces, Tangyu’s lips curled into a cold smirk.

When he went downstairs, he had noticed someone spying on him.

His eyesight was far superior to an ordinary person’s, so he had naturally spotted the four men hiding in the distance.

He had guessed that they were planning to kidnap Liu Shanshan, so he pretended to leave.

As expected, no sooner had his car left the residential area than those people came out.

That’s why Tangyu immediately turned back.

The men certainly knew of Tangyu’s prowess.

“Brother Niu” had been thwarted by this man twice, and it was unlikely that the four of them were a match for him.

Today’s task had been a matter of life and death as decreed by Brother Niu—if they failed, they would suffer upon their return.

It seems Brother Niu didn’t take my words to heart and dared to resort to even more despicable means.

Heh, an idle tiger can be mistaken for a sick cat,” Tangyu’s tone became chilly.

He would not easily get angry if provoked.

But the fact that Brother Niu had the audacity to think about kidnapping Liu Shanshan—to threaten him into submission—was hitting Tangyu’s raw nerve.

Although he had not yet established a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship with Liu Shanshan, he had already accepted her in his heart.

His future woman was his to protect; he would not let anyone bully her.

Tangyu was generally good-natured and disliked getting angry unnecessarily, but only if his bottom line wasn’t crossed.

Even a docile sheep can have its fierce moments, let alone a person of flesh and blood.

A man who couldn’t even protect the woman by his side was hardly a good man at all.

The cold voice and the terrifyingly sharp gaze that made one’s heart palpitate caused the muscles on the four men’s faces to twitch as they exchanged looks, communicating silently about their strategy.

These four had also taken part in the previous encounter and had witnessed Tangyu’s ruthless methods.

Faced with an opponent who was truly enraged, how could they not be terrified?

Last time, without even losing his temper, he had crippled one man’s hand and cracked another’s skull open.

Such ferocity was rare even among the underworld.

One of the men holding Liu Shanshan suddenly turned vicious, pulling out a dagger and pressing it against her throat, while the other three quickly reacted, fixating their gaze on Tangyu as they each drew their own life-saving daggers, threatening, “Don’t come any closer, or we’ll do this chick in.”

With a knife pressed against her neck, Liu Shanshan’s eyes widened, but seeing the look in Tangyu’s eyes, she calmed down.

She believed that with Tangyu there, she would definitely be safe.

It was this belief that allowed her to remain calm in the face of terror.

Of course, she couldn’t say she wasn’t afraid; after all, those were gleaming, sharp knives, and if these people were cornered, no one could predict what they might do.

With life hanging by a thread, nobody could remain composed.

Tangyu’s eyes grew colder, emitting a chilling light.

He had foreseen this situation.

“I’m giving you one chance, leave now, and I’ll let you go,” Tangyu said coldly.

The four men were taken aback, exchanging glances.

They had no confidence they could take on Tangyu, even with weapons in hand, for his strength was something they truly dreaded.

But to return without accomplishing their task was also not an option; they knew they couldn’t explain themselves to Brother Niu and would still be punished, especially since Brother Niu was in a foul mood, and the punishment could be terrifying.

The four men quickly made up their minds and decided to take a desperate gamble.

“Hmph, it seems you don’t understand the situation.

It’s not your turn to call the shots now.

This chick is in our hands, and you better do as we say, or else you can’t guarantee her safety.

We know you’re skilled, but what of it?

Dare to make a move and see if you’re faster than us,” said the man with the knife against Liu Shanshan’s neck, his face filled with unyielding ruthlessness, while the other three men also bore sinister expressions, ready to kill if pushed further.

“That’s right, you better step aside, or don’t blame us for not being polite,” another man said.

Tangyu snorted coldly, clearly seeing that they wouldn’t cry until they saw the coffin.

Wanting to keep a low profile seemed too much to ask.

Since they did not cherish the opportunity, they should brace themselves for his unrelenting fury.

Tangyu was truly angry, feeling the urge to kill for the first time.

To dare harm the woman he intended to be with was to touch his reverse scale.

Tangyu’s figure vanished from the spot, rushing towards the four men like an arrow, with a speed that left onlookers stunned.

This speed was even faster than a world champion’s hundred-meter sprint.

At such a close distance, it took less than the blink of an eye for Tangyu to close in on the four men.

Their pupils constricted, and they burst into frenzy.

They managed to react and respond, but everything still came too suddenly.

It was so sudden that none of them expected Tangyu to completely disregard their threats and actually take action.

The four wanted to make their final stand, but they were soon horrified to find that their bodies were as if bound, unable to muster any strength or move.

Tangyu casually picked up two of them and walked over to the balcony.

Liu Shanshan’s eyes widened in shock as she watched him, not understanding what he was about to do, but she soon gaped in horror, covering her mouth to avoid making any noise.

Because she saw Tangyu throw those two men off the balcony.

The remaining two looked at Tangyu with endless fear in their eyes, as if they were seeing a god of death.

This man was far too cruel in his actions.

The two regretted deeply, wishing they had chosen to face Brother Niu’s “three knives and six holes” rather than endure such terrible torment.

This could lead to death.

They wanted to escape, but their bodies were immobile.

Now they looked at Tangyu with faces filled with fear and pleading.

Liu Shanshan’s expression was also complicated.

She was indeed scared by Tangyu’s recent actions.

Tangyu approached Liu Shanshan and said, “Don’t worry, there won’t be any death.

This is only the third floor, about six meters high, and there’s grass below.

At most, they might break their arms or legs.

There’s no risk to their lives.

I’m always precise, and I would never kill.”

Hearing Tangyu’s words, Liu Shanshan breathed a sigh of relief.

She was indeed worried about someone dying; after all, murder was a crime, and criminals went to jail.

She would rather die herself than see Tangyu imprisoned because of her.

Tangyu then grabbed the other two men.

Liu Shanshan couldn’t help but plead, “Tangyu, don’t.”

Looking at Liu Shanshan’s earnest eyes, Tangyu’s heart softened, and he said, “Alright, I won’t throw them down the stairs.” Saying this, he carried the two men out and threw them into the stairwell, where they rolled down the stairs.

After dealing with the four men, a peculiar gleam flashed in Tangyu’s eyes; he was determined to settle accounts with Brother Niu properly.

Setting this thought aside for the moment, Tangyu’s expression softened somewhat as he came to Liu Shanshan, looking at her with sympathy.

Experiencing such an ordeal had indeed frightened Liu Shanshan, likely leaving a shadow on her psyche.
