Chapter 796: Chapter 792: Being Tracked
Wang Xianzhong and Fan Feipeng had conspired for a long time until they had to go to work at two in the afternoon and drove from the hotel back to the police station.
Around three o’clock, Wang Xianzhong went to Ye Fan’s office to see him, using the excuse that he had been working outside in the morning and had just found out that Ye Fan had returned.
Ye Fan neither confirmed nor denied, spoke a few normal words with Wang Xianzhong, and then dismissed him.
He was busy taking over his work again and had no time to deal with Wang Xianzhong for the time being.

However, Xu Xiangli hadn’t drunk. She could drink, but she purposefully did not under the guise of being a woman, making it convenient to drive Ye Fan home after singing in KTV.
“Leader, I didn’t drink, shall I take you home?” Xu Xiangli asked following Ye Fan as they left the KTV.
Xu Xiangli knew where his home was, and Ye Fan didn’t refuse, nodding slightly, “Thank you for the trouble.”

With Xu Xiangli leading the way, Ye Fan walked to her car.
When Xu Xiangli personally opened the door to the leader’s seat for Ye Fan, he said, “I’ll sit in the passenger seat.”
He never liked the leader’s seat in the car; it didn’t allow him to constantly know the condition of the car and its surroundings.
Saying that, he walked to the passenger door, pulled it open, and sat down.
Two minutes later, Xu Xiangli, driving her car with Ye Fan, slowly drove out of the parking lot and entered the motorway.
And at this moment, from a dark corner, Wang Xianzhong was on his phone, pressing his voice down, “Ye Fan really got into Xu Xiangli’s car, and they are driving toward Democracy East Road.”
“Good, I’ll immediately follow them. Haha, something exciting is bound to happen tonight!” An excited laugh came through the phone.
Meanwhile, Ye Fan sat in the passenger seat of Xu Xiangli’s car, casually listening to Xu Xiangli’s words, occasionally responding.

Five or six minutes later, Ye Fan was completely sure that they were indeed being followed.

Seven or eight minutes later, they finally arrived at the Sunshine community.
Xu Xiangli intended to drive into the community and drop Ye Fan off at his building, but he declined, so she had to park the car in front of the community gate and let Ye Fan out.
Yet, when Ye Fan got out, she followed suit.

With that, he headed inside the community gate.
“Goodbye, Boss.” Xu Xiangli had to stop, waving goodbye to Ye Fan as his figure disappeared around the corner of the gate.
As soon as Ye Fan was out of sight, Xu Xiangli got back in her car and drove away.
At this moment, Ye Fan peeked over the wall inside the community, spotted the car that had been following him drive past the community entrance toward the direction Xu Xiangli had left in.
“Could it be targeting Xiangli?” Ye Fan thought to himself, he easily scaled the wall, then using the Qinggong technique “Giant Roc Spreads Its Wings,” he followed the black sedan under the cover of darkness and adjacent buildings.
After following for a while, Ye Fan saw the black sedan overtake Xu Xiangli’s red car.
Now, he was sure either he or both he and Xu Xiangli were being targeted.
Given that, Ye Fan was even more determined to follow and find out who was behind this betrayal.
He was very familiar with the streets and buildings of Mingde County, he remembered them like a map in his mind, making it impossible for him to lose sight of the black sedan.

Ye Fan guessed much in a moment, and most of his suspicions were probably right.
However, he didn’t continue to follow into the nightclub. After all, Fan Feipeng and his accomplice would eventually come out; it was enough for him to watch from afar, why risk being discovered by following inside?
Meanwhile, Fan Feipeng entered the nightclub, took the elevator to the third floor, then walked farther inside, finally stopping in front of a more secluded private room door and rang the bell.
Soon, the door was opened from inside, Fan Feipeng entered, and the door quickly closed behind him.
“How did it go, Captain Fan? Did you get their photos in the hotel room?” Wang Xianzhong asked eagerly, his tone filled with excitement.
“Nonsense!” Fan Feipeng cursed roughly, then walked to a sofa, poured himself a glass of red wine to quench his thirst before saying, “Xu Xiangli just dropped Ye Fan off in front of the community gate where he lives.”
