Fukasaku, the elder toad, had just received Jiraiya's report. Upon learning that Gensou might soon arrive, his expression darkened.
Beside him, Shima noticed his reaction and asked curiously, "What's wrong, dear?"
"Gensou is coming to Mount Myōboku!" Fukasaku replied grimly.
"Gensou? That young man?" Shima asked in surprise. "Why would he come here?"
"Naruto! He's after Naruto!"
"Naruto…"
Shima's brows furrowed as she glanced at Naruto, training diligently nearby.
Whether it was under the Great Toad Sage's orders or their own feelings, there was no way they would hand Naruto over.
Still…
Having experienced Gensou's strength firsthand, Shima couldn't help but feel uneasy.
"That young man is incredibly strong! He's going to be trouble!"
Even if she and Fukasaku joined forces, they wouldn't stand a chance against him.
"Don't worry. The Great Toad Sage is here!" Fukasaku reassured her. "Not to mention, Mount Myōboku is home to many toads who've mastered senjutsu. Gensou won't succeed on his own."

Fukasaku added, "We still need to inform the Great Toad Sage of the potential attack and ensure Mount Myōboku is prepared."
"I'll go with you," Shima offered.
Just as the two were about to set off—
BOOM!!!
A thunderous explosion erupted in the distance.
Turning to look, they saw a massive plume of smoke rising like a dragon into the sky from the direction of the mountain's entrance.
"That's…"
"The entrance to Mount Myōboku! Iwajuku's domain!"
Exchanging glances, the two elders immediately realized the worst.
"What's going on? Are the toads fighting each other?"
Naruto, who had also heard the commotion, paused his training. Having never imagined an external threat to Mount Myōboku, he assumed it was just the toads sparring and eagerly wanted to join in.
After all, training alone had become quite dull.
Fukasaku and Shima stopped him.
"Naruto, we need to go to the Great Toad Sage immediately."

Explosions began erupting continuously from the direction of the mountain's entrance, shaking the ground beneath them.

One by one, toads of various sizes rushed toward the scene of the battle.
"What's going on?!"
Naruto scratched his head. Even if the toads were taking things seriously, the scale of destruction seemed far too excessive.
"Naruto, come with us!"
Fukasaku and Shima, their expressions grave, wasted no time in pulling Naruto away.
"Wait! My clothes—this is my only set!"
At the entrance to Mount Myōboku,
A towering figure, larger than a mountain, collapsed with a deafening crash.
Hovering in the air, Gensou descended slowly, his gaze falling upon the remains of Iwajuku, the massive guardian toad, whose head was now half-destroyed.
Shaking his head slightly, Gensou remarked, "I gave you a chance, and you didn't take it."
Initially, Gensou had considered sparing Iwajuku, given the toad's vast reserves of senjutsu chakra. He had planned to use it as a source of energy once the Infinite Tsukuyomi was activated.
But Iwajuku had stubbornly resisted, fighting with everything it had to stop him.
Its strength was commendable, leaving Gensou with no choice but to eliminate it.
Fortunately, before the toad's demise, Gensou had absorbed some of its senjutsu chakra with his Rinnegan, mitigating his loss.
Taking one last glance at Iwajuku's lifeless form, Gensou turned to leave.
At that moment, a deep green toad, the size of a small house, arrived with a powerful leap. Seeing Iwajuku's corpse, it bellowed in rage, "Elder Iwajuku!!"
Without hesitation, the toad drew its blade and charged at Gensou, who met its attack with a calm gaze.
In an instant, the toad's sword flew out of its hands and, before it could react, severed its own head.
"Mercy is wasted on the weak," Gensou muttered as he continued forward.
As more toads arrived, their numbers grew, and their fury intensified.
Rip!
Blood splattered as a toad fell in two, cut down in a single stroke as it tried to rush past Gensou.
A massive toad, as large as Manda, charged at him, only to be thrown back by an unseen force. Its enormous body collided with a mountain, leaving a massive crater and burying it in rubble.
Another toad attempted a fire-style attack but was incinerated by its own flames.
Despite their mastery of senjutsu, the toads of Mount Myōboku were no match for Gensou, who continued to advance unimpeded.
Finally, a massive shadow descended from above.
"Suiton: Teppōdama!"
A powerful water bullet shot toward Gensou with incredible force.
"Now we're getting somewhere," Gensou said, activating the Preta Path of his Rinnegan.
Absorption Seal!
The water bullet was instantly absorbed.
From above, Gamabunta landed, narrowing his eyes at the intruder. "It's you!!"
"Big brother, be careful! He's dangerous!" Gamahiro, clutching his dual swords tightly, issued a warning.
"I don't need you to tell me that," Gamabunta replied, recalling the reports he had heard from Jiraiya about Gensou's immense power.
Normally, Gamabunta would have taken a moment to enjoy a puff from his pipe to steady his nerves. But now, with the stakes so high, he drew his short blade and fixed his gaze on Gensou.
Not far behind, Gamaken arrived, wielding a new shield and spear. Seeing Gensou, the one responsible for destroying his favorite shield, he said solemnly, "I may be clumsy, but I'll still fight!"
