Howard’s face showed astonishment for the first time.
But in the next second, his gaze returned to deep and serene, as if he did not care about his current situation.
"Jack, is this the power you learned from the abilities I taught you, mimicking the traits of mythical beings... truly powerful and troublesome strength."
Howard spoke without turning his head, slightly lowered his head, looking at his gradually crystallizing body, and couldn’t help but sigh again.

The White Scale Dragon tried to struggle, but it couldn’t resist the power of that big hand at all. Its entire head was forcibly torn off from Howard’s back, and the blood from the ruptured neck splattered out, transforming into white crystal dust that sparkled and floated away.
Howard dragged the White Scale Dragon’s head with a mad gleam in his eyes and flung it out furiously.
The massive head, trailing a glittering tail of crystal dust, flew towards the depths of the starry sky like a comet.
Howard took the opportunity to switch the pen to his left hand and began feverishly writing on the script with fanaticism and determination!
"Only the last step left..."
The silver-white, blue-tinted pen tip moved across the paper, the rustling sound incessant. The slightly tilted and twisted handwriting was no longer as elegant as before but still clearly conveyed its meaning.
The crystallization on Howard’s body continued to spread, yet some healthy parts quickly sprouted fleshy buds, writhing and twitching like an army at its last stand, vowing to resist the white crystal’s invasion.

His gaze shifted slightly, as if piercing through the distances of the starry sky, he saw that distant blond man.
When the symbol of infinity overlapped with that figure, the man seemed to sense it, suddenly looking up and meeting Chen Lun’s gaze from afar.
Chen Lun roared from his throat with a defiant shout:
He flicked his finger.
The card vanished, cutting through the dark light.
Howard, kilometers away, felt his eyelid twitch. In shock and fury, he was just about to step out to avoid it. But half of his face uncontrollably pulled into a bitter smile, his body hesitated for a split second.
Howard just started to speak, then his body suddenly stiffened as if struck by lightning, his eyes widened.
"Don’t you feel regret..."
His eyes moved slightly, looking at the blank space at the end of the script, where one last sentence was missing.
Hiss hiss hiss hiss!!
Countless pale threads, carrying the destructive power of Death, suddenly pierced from his body, radiating in all directions.
Howard’s pen fell, into the endless darkness beneath the starry sky.
When Chen Lun, dragging his tottering body, returned before Howard, he found that Howard had not yet died.
On the verge of ascending to Angel Rank, Howard’s life force was incredibly tenacious.
Even though he was covered in white crystals and countless pale threads pierced out from within his body, he still half-knelt in the starry sky, head lowered like a statue.
But of course, his time was running out.
Even without external interference, Howard would likely be completely eroded in a short time, thus falling silently in this starry sky.
