He thought that after Fahai had become a Heavenly Venerate, Sun Wukong would have called him over.
But until Fahai left, Sun Wukong showed no sign at all.
This made Truth Listening very puzzled. The Great Sage Equalling Heaven was indeed unlike ordinary people.
Sun Wukong smiled lightly and said, "Since he has already become a Heavenly Venerate, why should I appear? Fahai has his own path to walk, and I need not interfere."
Truth Listening sighed, appreciating how thoroughly Sun Wukong thought things through.
If one were under Sun Wukong’s command, it would indeed be a matter of great fortune.

Sun Wukong suddenly said.
"It’s just him alone."
Truth Listening immediately spoke, his voice tinged with excitement.
Sun Wukong’s eyes flashed sharply; he had been looking for an opportunity, and now his adversary had delivered himself to his doorstep.
If it was only his adversary alone, then the matter could be easily handled.
A figure appeared atop the city, it was the Earth Demon God.
He sensed the qi of this place, his expression ugly.
"The Succubus is dead, someone killed her, damn it, even daring to touch my people, no matter who you are, I will chase you to the ends of the earth and kill you," the Earth Demon God roared.
He released a surge of demonic power, causing all living beings within the city to tremble.
The two Earth Immortal-level priests were dumbfounded.

"No, if Sun Wukong were here, Truth Listening wouldn’t look . Truth Listening should know that even though he may not be able to defeat me, escaping would still be quite easy for him," the Earth Demon God thought to himself.

Just at that moment, Truth Listening suddenly looked past the Earth Demon God and shouted, "Great Saint, make your move."
The Earth Demon God’s face drastically changed, and he swiftly turned around.
However, behind him, there was nothing.
At that moment, Truth Listening burst forth with all his strength, managing to barely break free from the Earth Demon God’s qi lock, and fled into the high sky.
The Earth Demon God could no longer care about the killing of the Succubus; he hurriedly pursued.
If Truth Listening escaped into Huaguo Mountain, dealing with Sun Wukong later would not be so simple.
With Truth Listening to scout their locations, an assassination of Sun Wukong would hardly be possible.
"Trying to escape? It won’t be that easy."
The Earth Demon God chased after him, overtaking Truth Listening and blocking his path.
Truth Listening’s face showed despair as he glared furiously at the Earth Demon God.
"Earth Demon God, the Great Saint is right behind you."

"You won’t escape, Truth Listening. Although you can listen to the voices of all things in the world, your strength is utterly weak, merely at the level of a Celestial Immortal. Escaping from the hands of a Great Heavenly Venerate is simply impossible," the Earth Demon God said coolly, confident of his victory.
Truth Listening’s expression was grim as his body trembled slightly under the dominance of the Earth Demon God.
The Earth Demon God smiled faintly and said, "Submit to me, and I will let you partake in supreme glory."
Truth Listening roared, "Impossible, I have only one master, and that is Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva."
The Earth Demon God displayed a disdainful expression, remarking scornfully, "Just a mere Ksitigarbha, what qualifications does he have to compare with me? Killing him wouldn’t be much harder than killing you."
He held Ksitigarbha in utter disdain.
Truth Listening glared at the Earth Demon God, infuriated, and shouted, "Don’t you dare besmirch my master!"
The Earth Demon God nodded, looking at Truth Listening with a hint of admiration.
He sighed, "You really are a loyal one; I like you even more now. Submit to me, and I’ll help you become a Heavenly Venerate, to truly reach the status of Great Heavenly Venerate."
