Hearing the ha of the Great Emperor Ziwei, the Queen Mother of the West couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
She shook her head and said, "Ziwei, you’re still young, you truly don’t understand how terrifying a real powerhouse can be. If Emperor Jun and Tai Yi, the Eastern Emperor, couldn’t do it, how could you possibly succeed?"
"Is Ziwei really inferior to those two?"
Sun Wukong sneered, his face full of defiance.
After giving Wukong a glance, the Queen Mother of the West said indifferently, "Both of them were once weak, but even at their weakest, they had already begun to show the demeanor of emperors. Even with other Supreme powers in the Three Realms, they couldn’t overshadow their radiance. You have no idea, before the Haotian God disappeared, Emperor Jun had challenged him several times. Although defeated in the early encounters, Haotian God couldn’t kill him, and the last time they even fought to a standstill."
Upon hearing these words, everyone couldn’t help but take a sharp breath.
Even the Great Emperor Ziwei felt heavy-hearted.
He had to admit, he was somewhat disheartened.
No matter what, the Great Emperor Ziwei hadn’t expected Emperor Jun to be so outstanding.
What did he do when the Jade Emperor was in power?
He acted subservient and obedient, not even harboring thoughts of usurping the throne.
Compared to Emperor Jun, he was just on a completely different level.
The Great Emperor Ziwei’s aspiration to become the Supreme of the Three Realms came only after the Jade Emperor vanished, and then, with the help of Sun Wukong, he reached where he was now.
Compared to Emperor Jun, he was indeed lacking.

Not only that, but in the great battle to expel Emperor Jun, Tai Yi fought fiercely against Emperor Jun for several days, neither winning nor losing, pushing Emperor Jun to be preoccupied and eventually expelled only after his forces were driven beyond the heavens."
The Eastern Emperor, too, was incredibly fierce.
Before becoming the Supreme of the Three Realms, he had already possessed the power of a Supreme, on par with the previous Supreme.
Yet, these two formidable figures couldn’t stop the extraterrestrial beings.
Everyone struggled to imagine just how terrifying these ’extraterrestrial beings’ must be, to cause such a situation.
Ziwei fell silent, quite taken aback.
He wanted to assert that he would eventually be no weaker than them.
But the words wouldn’t come out.
The Great Emperor Ziwei knew well that some matters couldn’t be settled by mere bravado.
Forced arrogance would only make one a laughingstock.
It was Sun Wukong, however, who suddenly sneered and asked, "So what now?"
"So what? What do you understand, you monkey? Do you think it’s impressive to fight the likes of Shao Siming and almost catch up to their strength? Without that level of combat power, Emperor Jun alone could fight more than five, perhaps even more."
The Queen Mother of the West said coldly.
She thought Sun Wukong was too arrogant, even to the point of overconfidence.
Throughout history, who would dare underestimate Emperor Jun and Tai Yi, the Eastern Emperor? Probably only Sun Wukong.
This was not audacity, but ignorance and fearlessness.
Sun Wukong, however, paid no mind to the Queen Mother of the West’s mockery. He sneered and said, "In my life, Old Sun is second to none. If it weren’t for Tathagata suppressing me for thousands of years, Old Sun would have been a Great Heavenly Venerate by now. With the combat power of Old Sun, would I fear Emperor Jun or Tai Yi, the Eastern Emperor?"
The Queen Mother of the West was taken aback; she knew that what Sun Wukong said was true.
Three years as a Celestial Immortal, and his strength had increased too rapidly.
Most importantly, Sun Wukong’s strength was still soaring back then.
If he hadn’t been suppressed under the Five Elements Mountain for five hundred years, he would have been a Heavenly Venerate by then.
In the subsequent thousands of years, becoming a Great Heavenly Venerate would not have been difficult.
Given the monkey’s performance, he was now almost catching up to the likes of Shao Siming. If he became a Great Heavenly Venerate, even if he wasn’t on par with the likes of Emperor Jun, the gap probably wouldn’t be too large.
At least they would be able to exchange blows.

The Queen Mother of the West said with a darkened face.
She felt she’d been embarrassed just now and tried to shift the focus awkwardly.
"And there’s Yang Jian. If he’d had today’s resources before, he probably would have already been a Great Heavenly Venerate. With Yang Jian’s combat power, do you think he would be much inferior to the Supreme of the Three Realms after becoming a Great Heavenly Venerate?"
Sun Wukong continued to inquire.
The Queen Mother of the West looked at Yang Jian, noticing that despite being praised by Sun Wukong, he displayed no sign of pride, entirely calm and collected.
With such a mindset, not becoming an unsurpassed powerhouse would actually seem abnormal.
"And Tathagata Buddha, this old chap, if his plans hadn’t been ruined by Old Sun, would already have stepped into the ranks of the Supreme. Do you think he’s weaker than Emperor Jun or Tai Yi, the Eastern Emperor?"
The face of Tathagata Buddha darkened, embarrassed to be called an old chap.
But upon hearing Sun Wukong’s praise, Tathagata Buddha stood up straight, adopting an aloof demeanor.
The Queen Mother of the West glanced at Tathagata Buddha, somewhat disdaining, but she had to admit, Sun Wukong was stating a fact.
If it hadn’t been for Sun Wukong and the others seeing through the Tathagata Buddha’s plans and thwarting him, Tathagata Buddha would indeed be a Supreme level powerhouse by now.
