"So...anyone else want a go, or am I planting more dumbass trees this fine evening?," Zhen Liu taunted as the warriors aligned with the Wolfe Family attempted to surround him. Evidently, after that first guy attempted and failed to surprise attack him, no one else wanted to risk being half way buried. The guy who did get buried was still alive, but... getting one’s ass whooped with the opponent using even a spark of aether was its own hell, plus they could still see how messed up his leg had gotten from Zhen Liu just standing there and taking it. They didn’t want to risk getting bodied like that.
Pathos asked with a sardonic tone.
’Hey, it works,’ Zhen Liu retorted.
The two were about to banter even further, but then Hurricroak interjected with a worrying statement.
[Maestro, this stupid cockroach is cheating! I need help over here.]
’Oh shit, I’m on my way,’ Zhen Liu replied as his face went from jovially annoyed to serious and pissed. None of the people who were trying to kill him seconds ago noticed this change in demeanor due to them trying to figure out what to do next.
"You go next, you have a spear and that spear art. The one that can shatter stone?"
"Just the one, and what if it breaks when I try to stab him with it?! You go, you got a shield."
"Yeah...no. We just saw him break Jed’s leg by having him kick him without making a move. I say we just-"
"Alright bitches and cockbags, I got other things to take care of. Now would you rather kindly step to the side so I may go, or do I have to go through you all?," Zhen Liu suddenly announced to his "audience", "And please note that if one of you attempts to stop me, you will end up a dumbass tree."
The group muttered for a moment before somebody decided to ask out loud, "What if more than one of us tried to stop?"
Zhen Liu made sure to look in the direction of the guy who asked that silly question before answering.
"Then you’ll be intimately familiarized with the terms: sodomy and human centipede."
Nobody in the room had heard either of those terms up until now, but for some reason, they all felt a twinge of fear and clenched their buttholes when those words escaped Zhen Liu’s lips.
"Now then...what’re your answers?"

[Cheating, fucking cockroach figlio di puttana!,] Hurricroak cursed as she fended off Leech’s latest stolen abilities.
"What’s wrong my little, little, little buffet? Not used to fighting someone so well-fed?"
[Second battle of my new lifetime and I’m up against an asshole who eats people like hard candies. Why didn’t I get lookout duty?,] Hurricroak grumbled, [Or at the very least, I should have taken his arms off first.]
________________________________________________ Earlier, Hurricroak had managed to catch Leech off-guard with her [Rhythm Combo] move and proceeded to smack the everliving daylights out of him with a mix of "Harambe", "U", "Brother Swing", and "Boogie". Unfortunately, turns out Leech was a slightly tougher than she had anticipated and had a stupid, in the words of Pathos, rule breaking cheat-like OP bullshit ability.
Hurricroak had exhausted her playlist/transformations after laying the hardest possible smackdown she could at the moment and was just about to decapitate Leech for a trophy, when she got cheap shot by one of the Wolfe Family’s Aether Masters and a team of Acolytes was subsequently knocked off to the side.
Evidently, this would turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
"Master Leech! Are you alright?," the elder asked as he hasitly made his way to Leech’s battle damaged form...only to be completely caught out of left field when Leech’s hand shot up and grabbed the elder by the throat.
"Too hurt. Need food, food, food!"
"Food?! What the fu-AHHHHHHHHH!"
The Acolytes could only watch in stunned horror as Leech drained the aether from their leader and dropped like a shrivelled husk. Making matters worst, Leech was staring at them next.
Hurricroak had managed to pick herself up in time to witness Leech living up to his namesake, it made her want to vomit.

[Diabolic Twister!,] Leech shouted as his crab claw arm became coated in a black colored whirlwind of aether. Hurricroak wouldn’t have known it, but this particular art was a signature move of the Aether Master that Leech had just drained.
Leech quickly swung the arm at Hurricroak, firing of a demonic drill of energy that threatened to pierce right through her, had she not the foresight and reflexes to throw up a quick aether shield in conjunction with her own crab arms. Unfortunately, she didn’t have enough time to steady her foothold and was subsequently knocked backwards for the fifth time this evening.
[Note for future fights, start with tiger leg claws firmly embedded into the ground,] Hurricroak thought to herself as she had to pick herself back up again.
However, this moment of recovery gave Leech just enough time to rush over to her position and grab her by the throat as well.
"Hello, hello, hello, juicy morsel!," Leech said with a sinister glee to his voice.
[Oh, fuck me,] Hurricroak griped as she tried to wrench the man’s arm off of her neck. She tried cycling through her arm transformations for something to overpower his grip. Unfortunately for her, Leech had decided to keep the crab claw in order to crush her throat while protecting his arm and she was running on half a tank at the moment. She needed a miracle.
"I’m gonna enjoy drink, drink ,dri-"
"DROPKICK MOTHERFUCKER!"
Or the sudden entry of her maestro coming in out of nowhere and dropkicking Leech in his stupid face and into a wall, subsequently freeing her from his grasps.
Hurricroak let out a sigh of relief both physically and mentally now that she was free.
’You alright, Hurricroak?’
[Yeah, I’m fine, a little winded. What took you so long by the way? I sent out a help call like several minutes ago.]
’Long story,’ Zhen Liu deflected as he began to channel his aether into Hurricroak.
=Long story? You introduced the concept of the human centipede to five different people,= Logos interjected.
Zhen Liu wasn’t looking at Hurricroak’s face at this moment since he was focusing on injecting her with additional power, but he could feel the mix of shock, horror, surprise and disgust coming from his connection to her.
’To be fair, they started it,’ Zhen Liu justified as he was wrapping up his impromptu healing, ’feeling better?’
Hurricroak leaped back to her feet and tested out her limbs to make sure everything was still in place.
But at the exact same moment, Leech got up too.
"Oh, oh, oh! A two for one meal for me? How exhilarating!," Leech said as he dusted himself off and acted surprisingly jovial for someone who just got knocked into a wall.
Hurricroak and Zhen Liu entered fighting stances and got ready to brawl.
